Multiple-unit assault question
Sorry, brothers, if this question is an example of how new I am to the game, but here it is. I know that two units can assault one enemy unit, but can one unit assault two enemy units the assaulting unit is within appropriate distance of both enemy units?

Re: Multiple-unit assault question
No, 1 unit may only assault 1 unit.
And welcome to the game

Sorry but, yes one unit can assult 2 units, both will get to shoot overwatch (unless one is a vech) but it is a disrupted charge and you will lose the extra attack for charging. You still must maintain max 2" seperation. You also must declare the charge on both units before rolling any dice for charge range.

+1. Always do this only if one or both assaulted units are already engaged in a fight, because the number of casualties you can take from Overwatch is very high.

except against tau. because it does not matter if you assault multiple or a single unit, almost the whole army fires overwatch at you anywayDonFer wrote:first strike wrote:Sorry but, yes one unit can assult 2 units, both will get to shoot overwatch (unless one is a vech) but it is a disrupted charge and you will lose the extra attack for charging. That's okay with me, since I'm assaulting with a unit which has an OXI w/Plasma Syphon.
