Our terminators are pretty well rounded but when it comes to using them in more aggressive tactics one has to wonder what is the best set up and gear options. By that I mean using them in the same mindset as assault terminators in other marine armies.

I've been thinking about this for a little while and the only thing that comes to mind is a Grey Knight Terminator Squad (5 man) with a psylancer and all members wielding a pair of master-crafted nemesis falchions. On average you get 15-20 attacks with the chance to re-roll up to 5 failed rolls to hit, in addition the psylancer is poor against armour but scary against multi wound models. Not to mention nightmarish against deamons.

Any thoughts?

I've been playing around with bringing paladins with banner. You won't get rerolls without prescience but the extra attack will help. You could master craft it or just bring the falchions and hope the weight of dice works in your favor.

Actually that just raises another question, I'm not sure if its been covered already in another post but the wording for falchions is that they confer a +1 attack on the wielder. But they would get that anyway for having 2 close combat weapons as stated in the rulebook. Would that imply that they get +1 attack for having a pair and then another +1 because they are nemesis falchions? Or is this just redundant?

They took out the +1 attack wording, so you just get the bonus for having more than one ccw.

Perhaps an incinerator would be better, since its 2 points stronger and has an AP value.
