1750 Point Coteaz/ Crowe List Empty 1750 Point Coteaz/ Crowe List

Here is what I have so far:

HQ:
Inquisitor Coteaz
Castellan Crowe

Elites:
Techmarine, nemesis warding stave, blind grenades, rad grenades, psychotroke grenades

Troops:
Inquisitorial Henchmen Warband, 6x death cult assassin, 4x crusader, Rhino
Purifier Squad, 2x psycannon, nemesis daemon hammer, Rhino
Purifier Squad, 2x psycannon, nemesis daemon hammer, Rhino
Purifier Squad, 2x psycannon, nemesis daemon hammer, Rhino

Fast Attack:
Stormraven Gunship, twin-linked multi-melta

Heavy Support:
Dreadnought, 2x twin-linked autocannon, psybolt ammunition
Dreadnought, 2x twin-linked autocannon, psybolt ammunition

This is exactly 1750 points. Let me know what you all think of the list.

i dont understand why you use coteaz in that list... you are only using 1 warband and that one isnt even a big shooter one.. i dont see that you are going to use his "I\'ve been expecting you" much with that layout... so hes only in there for the reroll seize the initiative?

Do you plan on using the rhino's as cover for the dreadnaught's?

Try to explain the list a little further? Which characters go where?

I apologize. The henchmen unit along with the techmarine and Coteaz ride in the storm raven. Crowe picks up the rhino that the henchmen brought. The rhinos are used to give the Dreads cover, unless the dreads have more optimal deployment options. (In ruins or behind buildings) Coteaz is still in the list based on his stealing the initiative ability and the ability to make the death cult unit score. Also the fact that he adds a second hammer hands to the death cult unit, making them that much better against tough enemies. (Such as Thunderwolves or Bloodcruchers) I originally wanted the list just to have Coteaz. I could not find an optimal way to spend the points. I considered a list like this:

HQ:
Inquisitor Coteaz

I like this list with the exception of the of the henchmen units in the chimeras. I feel that they are very fragile and don't serve a purpose, other than scoring. I am unsure of how to set up the non death cult henchmen units. Any help on that front would be appreciated. I would not mind dropping the purifiers and Crowe, but need something to fill those points. Let me know what you all think. Thanks.

I like your second list.

In your 1st list, one Stormraven will get blow up. If you want to run DCA in Stormravens, you need to run minimum of 2 ideally 3 with a Librarian with Shrouding to give all 3 a 3+ cover save. You would then back the list up with 3x 3 acolyte Razorback with psybolt ammo and 3 psyDreads if you can.

DCA are, in my opinion, better used as a counter assault unit, so you make them scoring with Coteaz and sit them on a objective inside a Rhino.
Purifiers by 5 don't work in assault, but they do by 8-10, so depending on what role you want for them will depend if they need to be scoring or just needed to contest.
