Alternate DraigoWing 1500
Hi Brothers,
I wanted to have your opinion on this new DraigoWing list. I am going to get all the model next Saturday if you think it can be a good list.
(HQ) Draigo -275
(TROOP 1) 8 Paladins - 585
apothicary
psycanon, sword
psycanon, halberd
bolter, sword
bolter, halberd
bolter, hammer
bolter, falchion
bolter, sword master crafted
psybold ammunition
(TROOP 2) 1 Solodin -55
(HEAVY SUPPORT) Land raider crusader - 280
extra armor
multi-melta
dreadnaught -145
twin-linked lazer
dreadnaught -145
twin-linked lazer
Total : 1485 (So i still got 15 points for fun stuff)
What do you guys think of this list?
Are the dreadnaught well equiped? What would be the other build for dreadnaught?
My idea is to put the 8 Paladins in the Land raider and rush to the ennemy, deepstrike the solodin just to divert some fire or jam a unit in cc for a turn or 2.
Thanks in advance for your help brothers!!

OO i just had an idea lol
with the extra 15 points, I could swap one dreadnaught for a dreadknight with heavy incinerator! ( I love the model lol)

Re: Alternate DraigoWing 1500
IMO I think you could drop the apothecary as that unit is pretty solid without it inside a LRC.
I'd also make the paladins a 7man so that Draigo can join them. I'd master-craft the Pyscannons as there going to be almost like insurance for your Can Openers.
I'd probably add a few more Solodins too, though I think Dreadknights will be better than Dreadnaughts as they will be able to stay close to the rest of your army and put alot of pressure on enemy units holding objectives, though that would leave a gap in your anti-tank...
Hope this helps, I hope to try something similar in the one time

I should of mentioned everything but I wanted others to post but what the heck lol.
At the end of the day it's up to you what you do. What set-up have you considered using for your solodins? Just a thought to ponder. Hammer, Sword or even upgrade to a Warding Stave.
Dreadnaughts perform best against light/medium armor using a pysnaught configuration of 2 Twinlinked Autocannons with pysbolt ammunition which is 135pts.
Falchions are cool looking but performance wise they are good but not amazing. This is debateable as it's another model for wound allocation.
Extra Armour on your LRC is debatable too as you have fortitude but this could be a nightmare if your opponent has a good pyschic defence.

Re: Alternate DraigoWing 1500
Thanks again Brother!
I decided to put more armor on the LR since it will probably get focus a lot. Is it still worht it? On the table top, is this a good option? I wanted lazer on the dreadknight because I feel that i got nohting against other vehicules, but I might be wrong (can dreadknight be good to destroy LR, paladin can do the job?) What about the personnal teleporter on the dreadknight...it cost a lot...is it worth it's point cost?

Re: Alternate DraigoWing 1500
Well for the dreadknight without PT he moves 6" and assaults 6" but with it he can move 12" and assault 6" and once per game he can move 30" but not assault this can help him not to be focused on as easy, as well as put the heavy incinorator were it hurts most
when I take a dreadknight I have to take one
