So, since I'm broke I decided to write a relatively inexpensive 2000 point list. Draigowing looks to be cheap and interesting. Also, I have a new-found love for Godhammers after reading extensive articles on their use. They look like fun. Without further ado, here is my list:

Dual-Raider Draigowing

HQ

Draigo

Librarian with warding stave, quicksilver, MoT, Sanctuary, Shrouding, Warp Rift, and 3 servo skulls

Elites

Vindicare Assassin

Troops

10 Paladins with Psybolt
  1. MC Psycannon and halberd
  2. MC Psycannon and sword
  3. MC Psycannon and hammer
  4. Psycannon and halberd
  5. Stormbolter and MC hammer
  6. Stormbolter and MC halberd
  7. Stormbolter and MC sword
  8. Stormbolter and hammer
  9. Stormbolter and halberd
  10. Stormbolter and sword

Solodin with Halberd

Solodin with Halberd

Solodin with Halberd

Heavy Support

Land Raider

Land Raider

Total = 2000

Strategy is to deploy the 10 Pallies + Draigo and Libby in front of the Raiders and shoot the crap out of everything in range and try to keep CC as a last resort. Raiders take out light armor. Vindicare snipes heavy armor. 2 Solodins embark in the Raiders to make them scoring. Last Solodin deepstrikes to attack far away objectives and stuff. Servo skulls used to keep away infiltrators and scouts.

Other strategy is to combat squad the pallies into a shooty squad and a combat squad. Combat Pallies take one Raider while Draigo takes the other by himself. Both rush forward to get into combat. Shooty Pallies + Libby walk up behind and shoot stuff. Vindicare still takes out heavy armor. The servo skulls are all placed aggressively. All 3 Solodins deepstrike.

What do u guys think? Thoughts, comments, and suggestions are all appreciated. I'll try to post a batrep tomorrow.

I would be more likely to use the raiders to give my Pallies a good cover save TBH, otherwise they'll be splatted out front of the LRs,

Interesting idea though

Thx for the advice. I'm new to anything not Tyranids, so I'm used to using smaller things to give cover to larger things.

Hopefully, I can get a game today, otherwise I'll have one up next weekend.
