Plan is that the 2 PAGKs and Dread sit back in support or obj security, while the LRC w/terms do the normal and assault. C&C welcomed. Going to try and use this in a tourny. Not looking to win anything just to have fun and try to be competative.

Hate to say it but your Elite GKT squad costs 30 points more. I too have a 1750 point tournie soon and am contemplating a similar list to yours. With the lack and (size) of Troop choices, you'll really have to concentrate on getting your GKT's and LRC's into contesting positions. Other than reducing it by 30 points I can't see anything in the list I personally would change. Looks good.

Yep, your ELITES would actually cost 290.

Don't know if you've seen my 1750 list but it has done well for me so far. Very similar lay out except I have another 6-man PAGK squad instead of the dread. I also distributed the special weapons a little differently but the concept of our play style is very similar along with Brother NF.

My only suggestion is, since you're using a dread, I would give him a CCW instead (I believe that also shaves off 10 pts). In a 1750 list, having 5 TWLLC plus getting your GKTs up close is enough AT IMO. Giving your dread a CCW allows him to tackle vehicles as well as hard-hitting troops like termies. Just my two cents...

forgot to take the psycannon off. My LR are crusader style so I will only have 1 TLLC with the dread

LOL True that NF. I do love Godhammers. IMO, once our LR rules are "updated" to align with SM's, our LRC won't be as cool anymore. You can already tell w/ the IA2 update. No more MM and our hurricane bolters won't be able to "always" fire anymore. Still, used in conjunction w/ Godhammers, a LRC's survivability is greatly increased if only because of threat priorities...

Upset? Not at all. In fact, like ego vampires, we like to feed off of newcomers to sate our already over-blown sense of superiority. When you gain enough experience and realize to your consternation that from day one I really had no idea what I was talking about it will be too late. I'll already have moved on to another newbie to start the vicious cycle all over again.

Don't your PAGK get isolated? IMO, personally I would run the GK's behind the LRC to add firesupport against unit and close combat ability. Also I would drop the dreadnought, IMO transports are a usense but theres nothing you couldn't deal with a 2 assault cannons and 2 multi-meltas against most transports.

Thanks for the advice. I will take a look at this tactic. i am working on a list using this tactic. I will try both list this weekend

Looks like a fun list, very light on the heavy tank busting weaponry though. Any reason your taking so many psycannons on your PAGK really restricts their flexibility, would be good against certain armies for sure, but I see it struggling against others

First of all i thought that DH could only use 1 LRC and that black templars could use more than one, but i may be wrg so if anyone knows plz correct me. list looks good but i think u went a bit crazy on termies haha. Zealadin is right tho you need more anti tank weps. i suggest taking justicars and adding meltabombs with them. Also in my lists i use 3 LRs(1 being a LRC) its gives ur Gk actual protection while having the capability to be transported. But that would change ur setup too cuz im deducting that u plan to transport your termies in the 2 LRCs . Overall decent list but really really add more antitank weps

We can take LRC's for all three of our Heavy Support choices. We can also field up to 7 LR's. Never will happen (often) but yummy anyways.

wow nice lol but that sounds like a 3k pt + game lol. but nevertheless sounds incredably fun tho.

LRC's are looking more and more tasty now as my lascannons are continuing their epic fail for me lately. On the flipside my armor is being popped like cheap cans of beer by melta death.
