my name is rodolphe djaouti, I live in France, I'm 34.
I have played WFB for 17 years, few 40K battles with Dark Angels, Black Templars. Two years ago I started collecting Grey Knights since I falled in love with their fluff and Figures...
I had no occasion to play with them, and wanted my task force to be painted before to play with it.
No it's done, well my first fight was a defeat... shame on me! But I'm willing to improve myself to better serve the God Emperor !
I also play WFRPG and Dark Heresy .
Hope a new DH or GN codex will soon arrive...

I've been lurking around here, B&C, and Dakka for a few months now and I figured it was about time I registered and introduced myself seeing as how I', fairly confidant I'm going to have questions sometime in the future and you all seem to be a pretty knowledgeable bunch. My name is Drew, I'm 27 and I used to play WH40k way back in 3rd Ed. I fell out of the game when I went off to college and later parted out my 2500pts of Space Wolves to ebay right about when the 13th co stuff came out and they were the flavor of the month. Anyways I discovered my roommate is into 40k (Chaos) so I decided to take up WH40k again. I love modding, sculpting, and making terrain almost as much as playing, however a lot has changed since 3rd Ed and to be honest I don't remember that much from when I did play. The Seattle Battle Bunker is about 45 min from where I live and its about the closest local gaming store to where I live in West Seattle. I was hoping to maybe find a few players nearby that wouldn't mind schooling me in the ways of the GK/5th Ed. if your interested be sure to pm me!

Hi Everyone,

just thought I'd pop a quick post in here too, although my initial brief intro is in the painting forum. I used to play a lot of Space Hulk, 40k & Epic prior when I was younger. After finishing University I some what lost contact with players and the hobby. Having recently stumbled upon the new (and acquired) the new Space Hulk it triggered me to pull out all my old metal miniatures and show them to my son. Next thing I know I've hunted down a local gaming group, re-painted all my terminators as Deathwing and I'm hooked again. I had played a lot with Nids and Termies over the years, not suprising given the Space Hulk origins, however I found myself fancying playing something a little different but suitably fluffy and still marine orinetated. Grey Knights definitely struck a cord for me, so here I am having crawled round the net looking for information on Grey Knights, and this seems to be about the best source

i have a =I= mix and i have high inquisitor corteaz i also have some imperial guard. they didnt have the codex in stock so is it legal to have imperial guard basilisk. im accually going to a tournement on the 13 of feburary...... Genghis con xxxi tournement i dont expect to win but i would like to get out, cuz im not very good and would like to get better.

You're allowed to use a Basilisk as long as your Daemonhunters are allied to an imperial guard army. Other way around all we're allowed as far as Heavy Support goes is a Leman Russ Battle Tank (No other varient). Basically this means that as long as you have an the Imperial Guard as the parent list, you can take them.

yeah i hate how you have to take the basic version of tanks and stuff i hope they change that
