Some books i had read.....

Yes, those books are great. The idea of a cowardly commissar who wins the day because of it is just awesome.

I´ve just read Legends of the Space Marines. It´s, like Heroes of the Space Marines, a collection of short stories. It was an enjoyable read. It contains short stories about the :
Black Templar
Dark Hunters
Doom Eagles
Flesh Teares
Mantis Warriors
Salamanders
Scythes of the Emperor
Space Wolves
Ultramarines
White Scars

The only one that i don´t like, was the Ultramarine one. It´s set between the events of Warriors of Ultramar and Dead Sky, Black Sun. All other had been quit good. The one about the Doom Eagles had been a bit long-breathing, but it had been written by James Swallow (and you guys know that i don´t like him).

I just finally finished Fire and Faith a SoB novel (couldn't sleep one night so read the whole thing).
Was quite good, really lacked the action of alot of novels, but was still very well written.

I am 70 pages into The GK Omnibus and I am loving it. I am actually going to make a female inquisitor with 6 Death-cult Assassins.

I dunno, I didn't like the book but alot of people did, probably cause I like my lore nice and pure!

I didn't like the books as real lore but they where a good read.
Oh and I'm currently reading 'scourge the heretic' to be followed by 'innocence proves nothing'.

Oh no! I like Legia and Alaric... I don't want them to change. Also Stern FUCKS up Tancred in the book. That scene is pretty awesome. P.S. that happens within the first 70 pages and it doesn't spoil anything...

Don't worry the characters are done really well, theres just some fluff here and there that doesn't really fit GK. That aside its a good book, just could have been a bit truer to the lore.

Just half through Salamanders. It´s a good read. Nick Kyme had done a really good job.

Salamanders are a decent chapter interms of coolness, but i need to finish titanicus first.

I'm caught oh-so-firmly in the Horus Heresy atm, and re-reading the HH series. Just finished reading False Gods, Fulgrim's my current read, with Thousand Sons next.

I think I'm a hopeless fan of Graham McNeill! Also waiting (anxiously) for a 2nd Ultramarines omni.

Graham McNeil is awesome! Going to start reading...about to start reading the 5th book in the Ultramarines series "Courage and Honor". BTW, the 4th book, "The Killing Ground" has a substantial appearance by none other than our own GK's!

Ok, finish Salamanders today. Awesome read. The boarding of the AdMech Cruiser was very interesting. And the Marines Malevolant had been also very interesting. You should read it. Now i´m keen to get the second part.
Now i ´ll go ahead with Fallen Angel from the HH series.

Ok, i just finished Soul Hunter. The new Night Lord novel. It was a fine read. I love it. It was an interresting inview into the Legion and their position to the ruinious powers.
You should read it, of cause only to learn how to better fight those heretics.

I just finished listening to Raven's Flight (audio book). It was pretty good. First time listening to an audio book and I can say it was enjoyable.
Does anyone know how Corax died and when? I thought Corax died on Istvaan IV along with Vulkan and Ferrous Manus but it seems he was able to escape with a few thousand of his Raven Guard.

After the return to Deliverance he tried to rebuild his Legion faster by some manipulation on the geneseed, but this failed and ended up with some creatures very similar to the Wulfen of the SW. After that drawback he took a ship together with his Honour Guard and made way into the Eye of Terror. His last words had been "Nevermore..."

Thanks DB. Where do you read this? I'd like to know more about the chronology of events as well as what happened to the the other primarchs.

Some years ago, there had been four book from GW called Index Astartes. And the last one Index Astartes IV included the article about the RG.

Hmmm, I need to find me these books.

Have you read the Horus Heresy Collected Visions? I believe there were 4 books. I wonder if they give a good account there too

I have the Collected Visions. Not much about the RG, but none the less a good book.

Today i´ve small talked a bit with Aaron Demski-Bowden about Soul Hunter, Fear the Alien and Throne of Lies. Nice guy.
Fear the Alien is a good read so far. It´s a collection of short stories. I had only read the NL and the Salamanders story. They had been both connected with eachother. Very interresting.

Just finished The Chapter's Due by Graham Mcneil and it was very good. Very typical fast paced action from McNeill.

Currently started reading HH: Nemesis and it is very interesting so far.

I am reading Rynn's world right now, have any of you read it, what are your thoughts?
I am really enjoying it so far.

I've read Rynn's World. I like the story, just not the author's style too much. Still a good read though.
