Re: Some books i had read.....
The editing or more specifically the lack of it is a little frustrating, but the story so far is good.

Just finished Rynn's World! I thought it was actually a really good read.
I must say again that the editing was lacking....A Dread went from having an autocannon to an assault cannon within a page
Have any of you read this or other books by Steve Parker (Rebel Winter, Gunheads)? What are your thoughts on his style?

I actually liked Gunheads. He is okay for an author. He is pretty straight up on his narrative. Not much by way of hidden plots or unexpected twists that I enjoy from the likes of McNeill or Abnett.

Master Abnet.....
By the way, he wrote the Ultramarines's movie script.... a gage of quality I think.
About Eisenhorn and Ravenor trilogies, Abnet is said to prepare a final trilogy, maybe the final meeting between the master and his apprentice....

Finished Nemesis and it was VERY good! Definitely a good book about all the Officio Assassinorum Temples (including 2 temples not in the codex).
Started Helsreach by A-D-Bowden and really liking it so far.
Going to pick up HH: The First Heretic today (also by ADB) and supposedly one of the best HH novels according to the reviews I've read.

Finished Helsreach sometime back and it was very enjoyable. I just finished Firedrake by Nick Kyme (sequel to Salamander) and I loved it. Totally inspired me since I'm putting together a new Salamanders army

Got a good idea of the power level of one of the Emperor's Custodians in the book I'm reading.
This 1 custodian killed an Astartes Chaplain, Captain and Chapter Master in 4 strokes. Oh, and he did it in 3 seconds
(not revealing the book so I don't spoil anything for anybody)

So many sacrifices have been made just so that the Grey Knights can fight. Just thinking about it, I don't want to miss with any of my storm bolter rounds. It's an affront to the sacrifices that were made just for the ammo...
The armor though, I can live with unless its been torn asunder or melted.

I've finally cracked open Hammer of Daemons to celebrate the GK release. I knew I had saved it for a special time. Unfortunately, I've been spending so much time with nose in dex, surfing the net for GK-related stuff and refining army lists that I've hardly had any time for the novel.

Yeah I feel the same about Hammer of Daemons, but the first two were simply amazing.
I've just started reading the Ravenor trilogy. I enjoyed the Eisenhorn trilogy but didn't think it was amazing. Hopefully this one will be better.

It's pretty cool when there is soo much GK goodness around that you have to try and prioritize your time to fit it all in isn't it!!!
I enjoyed hammer of Daemons. I thought it was really well written and thought out.

Just finished reading Salvation's Reach by Dan Abnett. Classic Dan Abnett although i don't think it was as good as his previous Ghosts' novels. Still a must read if you're a Dan Abnett or a Gaunt's Ghosts fan.
The latest Horus Heresy book, The Outcast Dead by Graham Mcneill is next.

BOTF was awesome! I have now finished Blood Reaver, and have started Void Stalker.
The Night Lord novels are a nice read. I really like it when you get to know characters over a few novels.
