fun list I think you gotta read

A little over my point goal but hay we're not perfect lol. The Librarian goes with the 10 man Purifier Squad usually in the Stormraven becoming a highly mobile hammer while The rest of the force bunkers down and becomes a nice anvil. Although it's still fast and hard hitting in an offensive roll.

I think in this situation an Ordo Malleus Inquisitor in Terminator Armour might be a better (and cheaper) idea than the Librarian. Add to this the fact you can give him a psycannon for some good anti-infantry firepower and also he'll be at Str 8 with his Daemonhammer....

Also your points for Purifiers are way off. 5 man Purifier squad with 2 psycannons, 3 halberds and a psyback is 196 points. so i'm going for Rhinos so you can fire your psycannons from the hatches and keep points down

Actually my count is not off. I just wrote the price down for them without the Razorback (whoops  ). Anyway. Razorbacks add some nice ranged dakka. Something Grey Knights tend to lack. In all the games where I've played Purifier list Psybacks have never let me down. It's extra firepower helps mitigate the fact I'm often out numbered. The guys I play against regularly field horde armies (Orks, I.G. Nids).

I'll admit the Ordo Malleus Inquisitor would save me some points but I'm leaning more towards the Libby. The possibility of getting Forewarning and thus having a 10 man squad of Purifiers walking around with a save of +3/+4 (+3/+3 in CQC with the swords) seems to good to pass up. The odds of getting it with a lvl 3 Libby are much better then a lvl 1 Inquisitor. Not counting on it to happen regularly but the odds are still better.

One way I thought of to save points is drop the Raven for an Aegis Defense line. 100 pts cheaper so I can get some Servo Skulls to Deep Strike the Libby and Co in with. Little different then if I stuck them in the Raven. 1. wont be doing much chopping when they arrive anyway. 2. the Raven has to come in Zooming so they're stuck in there for a turn anyway. 3. great place to stick Crowe till (hopefully) he gets Independent Character.

Hmmmm.....possible idea. Got enough points I could possibly give all the Knights of the Flame Master-Crafted weapons with Digital upgrades. It would make them able to challenge any Sergeant equivalent and many minor HQ's with great/good odds of victory.

You see the big problem I have with razorback and purifier combo is that you either keep the purifiers in the razorback and unable to fire their psycannons (which is a waste), or you have them moving behind the razorback for a cover save, but also prone to flank attacks and mass shooting.

There is of course a way to get both long range shooting AND protection for Purifiers.

Crowe with Coteaz can be a powerful combo as you can take 3 Purifier squads in Chimaeras and 3 Crusader/Deathcult squads in Razorbacks.

that could prove to be an interesting list. I have a few ideas for an Inquisitor list and bringing in Crowe and Co. may make thnigs more fun. Till then think I'll play test this list, see how it plays out.
