Re: THE LORDS OF TITAN HAVE ARRIVED!!!
About the Dreadknight, I'm surprised nobody made a connection with the exo skeleton Rippley uses at the end of Aliens.... Seems that the comparaison extends to the pilot's head.... Maybe a tribute to Rippley herself! LOL
As far as I'm concerned, I'll wait to build my minies to give an opinion about their shapes... At first look, I find ' em awesome...
Oh, by the way, I sucked my Ld test and preordered the Dex, the termies box, and Lord Draigo (who I find as impressive as Lysander!)...

Re: THE LORDS OF TITAN HAVE ARRIVED!!!
Original terminators look better than the new ones, but bonus is really in the customisation. The PAGKs look bare because they aren't coated in purity seals. In terms of scale, the PAGK definatley look bigger.
TBH I think that the paint job by GW makes the models look more bland.
That's not to say I'm not excited.... TERMINATOR ARMY IS A GO!!
EDIT: Also a bit sad that it's only 5 PAGK in a box

Regarding the new models:
As I mentioned earlier, I think the new models are very cool, and I am very satisfied, that the models has taken much more inspiration from the old GKs, than from current SMs. I would have jumped out a window, had they inherited the terminator-hunchback or the SM-pighelmet.
On the general paintjob, I think the that GW paint-scheme makes the models look much more naked than needed be. I will for sure tone down the "industrial" look of my models.
PAGK: Got to love them. Espressially the hammer-knight looks sooo evil. I have nothing to complain about regarding these models - except the teleport-coils... looks like something you would string electrical wire between.
Terminators: I'm just so happy, that they are still slim and agile, without the hunchback. Add to that all the little conversion-bits it is a pure winner
DK: I really don't se what peoples issue is with this model - apart from not wanting to be left out of the crying society at Whineseer. I think it is fantastic. Yes, the hammer is a bit small, the size is a bit over the top and the helmetless driver does not match the rest of the model... But just look at it! It looks like something that actually CAN fight - unlike a dreadnought. And in the setup with the helmet driver, PsyCanon and Psilencer it is sooo intimidating.

I am really happy that the Nemesis Force Claws are the Nemesis Falchions, I really enjoy the duel wielding look of the two swords, and I think it leaves it open for tons of cool modifications.

1: New models are GREAT, gonna buy them and kit bash with some regular marine stuff I've got in storage. They will all wear helmets as going to war without out one is just wrong!
2: Dreadknight doesn't need cover, it has a 4++ save anyway, want I want want to know is does hid NFS grant +1 inv sv as well?
3: SR don't fear melta guns, what with there cremite armour! it's all the las/ missile's that have twice the range of a melta they fear!

Re: THE LORDS OF TITAN HAVE ARRIVED!!!
I wonder how long it will take for someone to buy a DK and a hive tyrant and make a diorama of the final fight in aliens...that's sure to turn up at golden daemon or something
You could put one in a prone or squatting position, maybe just maybe hidden down like that it could hide behind the empire state building.....no, not a scaled model, the actual building lol

The DK only has a 5++
and the NFS lets him re-roll to hit, to wound and armour pen rolls!

The leaked 'dex puts him at 4++, has someone confirmed he's not?
I know the NFS lets him re roll but GKT and PAGK NFS add +1 to inv sv, does the dreadknights?

the dreadknight is less transformer than i thought

I went in to my local games workshop today and read through the codex for a couple of hours. Keep in mind the leaked codex was a playtest from late 2009!

Re: THE LORDS OF TITAN HAVE ARRIVED!!!
I disagree about losing Fearless. Due to points cost, our units will still be few and small on the table. We can't afford to be high-tailin' it out of there because a unit of Tau Fire Warriors shot our ass and we failed the morale check. I think GW should bloody well take out the 'immune to fear' part in their GK product description blurbs.

Re: THE LORDS OF TITAN HAVE ARRIVED!!!
Has anyone seen the entry about the Techmarine under the ELITES section of the army? It makes mention of three different units, two of which are straight out of SM, but the top unit entry is a bit interesting. It says that it can take up to 4 Servitors and they can be a Tech, Combat (Power Fist) or Gun (Heavy Bolter, Multi-melta, Plasma Cannon). This would be nice for my Servitors.
Also, I managed to find Coteaz's box on the site, but it was linked to at the time the Nemesis Dreadknight. Now I can't seem to find it. You might get lucky at times and find it there.
