Purifier Dakka Empty Purifier Dakka

Post by Akoni Sat Jun 21, 2014 7:48 am

I have unopened boxes of PAGK and can't decide how to field them. I plan on magnetizing them so that the models remain versatile to my future list. But as it remains, it seems that Purifiers are still the best choice when it comes to psychic powers, close combat attacks, and firepower. So below is a redundant Purifier Dakka list I will be slowly assembling and painting. I welcome all comments and criticism to help this list move ahead better.

Thanks brothers!

I like version 1 since you can deploy all units at once and it has more infantry. A painting tip is paint the shoulder pads white but the heads sliver so you can have them be purifiers or other PAGK without breaking the what you see is what you get.

That's a great idea. I was also thinking of buying some more head bitz and magnetizing them too.

Out of the choices I prefer list 1. However I'm not sold on the razorbacks, or the psybolt on the squads. The razorbacks are twice the cost of the rhino and are going to die just as quickly(especially since they have such short range). The workhorse of this list is the purifiers, you should be using the transports primarily to get them into their comfort zone ASAP. The psybolts on the squads are costing you 20pts for bonuses to 6 guys, guys who will be the first to die to protect your psycannons. If you changed the razorbacks to rhinos and drop the psybolts from the squads thats ~200points to spend. That could get you more purifiers, another dread with points left over, a strike squad to hold a backfield objective or coteaz + some henchmen to hold objectives/buff your purifiers(would be my choice)

Thanks for the tips Brother Bigbri. I was debating the same issues when making this list. I'll play around with the numbers a little more.

Should you change razorbacks to rhino I recommend getting another dreadnought since they are more effective in groups and the enemy will be less likely to fire everything at the dreadnought.
