GKT/Purifier/Heavy Support 2K Variation

This is the list I'm thinking of using for future 2K lists:

You have to have 10 purifiers to have 4 psycannons

To solve this just make them 2X 7 man GKT squads and add a Purifier on both elite choices, brother. You'll lay down some S7 rending fire power. sunny

(I was using a list maker and overlooked my Justicars in the overall body count of each troop)

With the corrections I made The list got a little better with an extra 33 points to play around with!

The only thing I'm concerned about is your terminators' mobility. That's a lot of points to get shot up by S8 AP1/2 weapons before they get close enough to bring the pain. This isn't bad though. If you're feeling sassy, you could throw 3 servo skulls on the GM and DS them.

I've been stroking my courage each time I play and DS with Servo Skulls when I can.

It's nice to be able to DS within 12" of the SS and only get a maximum 6" scatter.

So I think I would DS and combat squad after deployment the 10-man GKT.

With this type of list what Grand Strategy would you consider taking?

Grand Strategy would totally depend on the mission IMO. Since you only have 2 scoring units, you can make more scoring units in objective-based missions. In annihilation missions, I like using Hammer of Righteousness. Re-rolling 1's to wound for the whole game for both shooting and assault is awesome! Of course giving some of your units Scouts will work well too if you have 1st turn since it gives you an extra free move up the board.

Make one squad of GKT 10, with a second PsyC imo.
The PsyC make them REALLY dangerous at range.
