i read the codex 3 hours today. i felt good !! there's plenty of good stuff and plenty of possibilities, but :
1/ i confirm that the stormraven can't carry GKTs in direct contradiction with the picture in the codex.
2/ the paladins can effectively choose 2 special weapons for 5 pals and a GKT with for instance psycannon can have 2 falchions too !!
3/ dreadknight is "only" S6 T6 W4 2+ and 5++ but psilancer gatling is really heavy 12 !!
4/ psybolts are for autocannon too !! imagine a dread with autocannon S8

Nice!!! I still have to wait a few more weeks to get my hands on one. Is it true that they got rid of stormtroopers and replaced them with GK crusaders? If so, I have to sell some stormtroopers.

For me, my Storm Troopers are going to become IG Veterans. The fluff behind them will remain the same, in the service of an Inquisitor Lord, but being his own personal army that specializes in rapid assaults via the drop ships.

Aubec, was there any changes in the Codex referring to the Assassins, especially the issue with them not all having Infiltrate? All these posts have been mostly about the Grey Knights, but the Assassins are there so why not check them out a bit?

@DR: I'm headed to GW, I'll check on the assassins again.
@Aubec: That sucks about the SR. Did it actually say it can't carry models in TDA?

Thanks Brother Rivan, I really appreciate you checking out the Assassins. They were a great part of the Daemonhunter experience for me. Especially the Eversor. Why that cuddly psychopathic killer butcher many foul traitors for the good of the Imperium of Man.

That NDK is fantastic! I had a tone of ideas about poses for the NDK before, but now I have seen this I know I can make them happen. Oh how awesome this is going to be!

Where do you order your discount GW stuff from? I am definitely going to get one of these but if I can get it for cheaper then that is even better.

I agree. The only thing that really bugged me about the NDK was it's staight up-and-down pose with arms out to the side. Because of the Termie-jockey it looks like you can't get any bend to the NDK's legs and a leaning pose might be as versatile as you can get. Then again, I ain't the convertin' type so what the hell do I know?

assassins : have the same caracteristics and have some same rules, but i don't know the english wording of the rules : mouvement à couvert (move under cover ?), course (so they can run during shooting phase and assault after that), scout (not really sure about the third).
culexus has only +1 for each psyker in his 12" (in contradiction with the leaked codex that gave him +2 ) and can become a ghost some will be hard to target in the shooting phase (rules ?... i can't remember by now... will come back in my prayers)
callidus can't assault the turn they appear but make wounds (1D6 S4 AP2)

Aubec is right. In order to shoot at the culexus, units must pass a leadership test on 3d6! How cool is that? He's just walking around in plain sight and enemies end up ignoring him

ill have to get me self a culexus. sucks that the callidus cant assault on turn they get there was one of the best things about them
those new termies look great and the DK looks awsome will take abig box and alot of padding to carry that around thought

dark sphere looks good £14 for codex GW its £17
just checked if i buy it there even with P&P ill save 80 pence

i checked but didn't find where it said that the eversor explodes when he dies... i think he doesn't explode anymore

@Aubec: Unfortunately, the eversor does not self-explode anymore.

Are you sure that it can't carry GKT?
It would seem very strange since the BA version can carry terminators.

Yes. THE GK SR CAN carry up to 6 models in TDA. I read it myself

I have to be honest I was hoping it would carry 12 as a special GK only rule.

that's a point.
In the french BA codex it is said :
the SR can transportate 2 separate units : 12 models inside and a dread... unlike other transporting vehicles the SR can carry infantry with jet packs ("infanterie autoportée") ...
it never says that the SR can carry TDA and in the rules of the termies they are infantry ("infanterie") not infantry with jet packs ("infanterie autoportée")
conclusion ... bad bad one ... in the french translation they forgot to mention the TDA for the BA and, as the GKSR is the same as the BA one, they used the same translation !!

Well in the BA codex the Terminator Armour section says it always takes up two transport slots in a transport vehicle, which I assume would be the same in the GK codex.
But a vehicle will specifically say if it can't carry Terminator Armoured infantry.

The french translator must be some kind of heretik! I think that there's nô trouble embarking ternies in the SR...

i guess not if it's written in the english codex ... i have to buy one of them though !!
