It has a very few redeeming values.

The shoulder pads has some cool lining. Although i guess this model is a wee bit expensive for just getting a pair of nice shoulder pads.

And the servo skull on his thigh looks cool.

But he's just so bland, so stiff.

A model with two.... lightning whips? Should NOT look stiff and bland, he/she should be in a dynamic posť swinging them around destroying his/her opponets.

Or just be less stiff.

Here's a better model.

Although beeing a rather old model, it has the same style of weapon, as seen this is much more dynamic.

Why i'm doing a lenghty post in a argumentative style like this is beyond me, but dare oppose my point of view!!!.................... Or something.

Warmachine.

Retribution of scyrah.

Solo: Magehunter assassin, IIRC.

They got some cool designs going, their older models are getting a bit rough in the edges.

Space marine rapier???

Isn't the rapier more of an imperial guard thing?

Well i like it, would fit well with any admech force anywhere.

And i LOVE the enforcer, it is very well done and actually a very good step from gw.
The mastiff..... i had hoped for the classic cyber mastiff.

That one works i suppose.

It would be cool if they also did some arbiters. Old fellas should get some love.

Minotaur dudes are just nuts. To be expected.

I was blown away when I saw the Minotaur characters Shocked Immediately made me think of the movie 300. Asterion Moloc is VERY Leonidas IMHO. The Reclusiarch Ivanus Enkomi is also a superb model. I have to say the models are VERY impressive, the only critism I have is that the sculpting of the cloaks seems sub par Sad

I used to have the lead version of the rapier back in the day! Feeling pretty old right now Razz

Post by Souba on Thu Mar 29, 2012 3:58 pm

some new stuff from forgeworld that is incoming:

the space marine stormeagle :

the deimos pattern predator executioner:

heavy conversion beamer turret:

also the chaos decimator engine will get some more weapons in its arsenal. as a quote from it : "Inquisitorial savants do not know for sure what unknown and malefic party are responsible for the sinful innovation of the Decimator Daemon Engine, which is capable of fielding a wide range of armament; arcane conversion-beam generators, great multi-barreled Stormlasers, the reality-altering heresy of warp-tainted Soulburners and great raking Siege Claws to name but a few.
Two more detailed resin weapon options for this fearsome Daemon Engine will be on sale at the Forge World Open Day in limited numbers, well in advance of their scheduled release. The Decimator Soulburner and Decimator Heavy Conversion Beamer, designed by Daren Parrwood, are finely detailed resin weapons for the recently-released Decimator Daemon Engine, experimental rules for which can be downloaded from the Forge World website now."

That predator is so old school Razz

It's like 2nd edition styled, and so cute.

One question though.
You sure that is a heavy conversion beamer? Coz that looks an awful lot like a plasma-cannon.
