New forge world model, Nathaniel Garro!

Forge World just released another model for its Horus Heresy line. Nathaniel Garro; Hand of the Sigillite. To anyone unfamiliar with Garro he's one of the original eight founding members of incorruptible space marines used to form the Grey Knights. Previously a commanding officer in the Death Guard legion he rejected the idea of betraying the Emperor and was left to die on Isstvan 3. Managing to escape along with thousands of his battle brothers and fighting the newly infested plague marines and plague bearers along the way back to Terra, he informed the Emperor of his son's betrayal just in time for when Horus invaded.

Going over what he can do he's quite the tough cookie! Essentially a brotherhood champion plus 25 points but with equipment that makes him harder to shoot at and near impossible to kill. Here's hoping they release more of our former leaders, I'd love to see a diorama of the original 8 if it ever comes to that.

I was just thinking that this model marks a pretty significant achievement for the Grey Knights!
We officially have model representation in the Warhammer 30K Universe!!!!!!  

..... Now all we need to do is get a suit of terminator armour on him.

The Garro Audio Drama and the new HH book from FW.
Garro was tasked to gather 20 chosen warriors to the cause of Malcador the Sigillite. Nemean would be one of them. When Garro meet Nemean he was accompanied by Tylos Rubio and Zaven.
The book includes the profile for Rubio and for generic Knight Errants.

Good, but i guess difficult to play.
Knight Errants are HQ but not mandantory HQ.
They have all some Special rules, weapons and equipment in common:
Pargon bolter: Assault 3, rending, master-crafted
mc bolt pistol
mc power weapon
artificer armour
Iron Halo
Legiones Astartes
Prefered Enemy: Traitor
Implacable Advance
Precision shot
precision strike

By Falsehood cloaked: may deploy via deep strike, and when do so no scatter. Untill your next Player turn you opponet can only snap shot at the Knight Errant and any Charge against him this turn Counts as disordered.

But it´s the last Special rule, that make them difficult to play.
Oath of Moment:
this rule represent how vital and urgent the Mission of the Knight Errant is. You can only win the game if the Knight Errant fulfills his Oath no matter how may other victory Points you already have earned. You must Chose one of the following:
Crusader (1VP): the KE must end the game within the enemy´s deployment Zone
Protector (2VP): note the identity of another IC in the army This model must survive the game
Hand of the Sigillite (2/3VP): the KE must Control one object marker till the end of the game. If the marker is in the enemy deploment Zone it´s worth 3 VP
Headsman (3VP): the KE must slay the enemy warlord
King Slayer (3VP): If the opposing army includes a Primarch, the KE must slay him

Wonder how Loken would look?

They all got the same MK VI mastercrafted Armour. So i would say like Garro without the eagle around his neck.
