Hi guys, I'm Gil (or Hal if you want a real name )

Been in the hobby for, well, years, don't really play much but i love the hobby side and do alot of converting and my painting skills are coming along. While i don't play my forces i very much like them to be legal and capable forces (hence you'll see me posting army lists and asking for tactica advice)

Armies i have in my collection are a 2000pts+ force of Drop pod space marines (DIY Chapter), Gun line city fight tau, some orks from black reach, Then fantasy i have a full sized Wood Elf war band along with some Dwarfs and Goblins from the start set.

I've wanted to start a pure GK list for a while now, and my SPace Marines are almost done and i have a long summer coming up so i splashed out and bought this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220405651666, good ol' ebay giving lots of nice stuff, reasonable price really, saved a good £50 of online store prices, probs pushing £65 from GW prices. So that should give me a really nice base to my army which may extend beyond a pure GK list (especially with all those pretty IG things). But i've got 2 weeks till my law exams and then 2 weeks of exams so i won't be getting any painting done for a while, but when i do i'm planning on grey knights (as my tau are all painted silver so i don't want another silver army) and then deciding between extreme highlighting or just some quality dry brushing, ah the possibilities.

Hello and welcome to the forum. You have my sympathy on the upcoming law exams. I'm sure it's going to be brutal. Any chance you'll be posting pics on your Tau and SM armies?

Hope your exams go really well so you can enjoy some quality painting time as a reward! Also looks like you get a pretty insane deal on those Grey Knights!

Probably want to avoid dry brushing GK's normally ends up with the worst results due to the intense details on the models generally being lost of destroyed or at least thats me and a friends experience

Hope to see some cool pictures of your models once your exams are finished though!
