Cool Grey Knight Models

I just found these GK Dread pics on CMON, and thought you might enjoy them.

I was thinking that it would be cool if we continue this thread and keep posting awesome GK pics that we come across (there are lots of them out there).

I think it will be a good resource for us to pull from and use for our own armies.

Sometimes a model is painted too nice and I end up not liking it. Then again I can't paint worth squat so what the hell do I know.

The cloak is green stuff, on the back.

Front is plastic.

Very nicely done. You can even see the blue eyes through those tiny slits in the armour.

With a different color scheme I think that SM Captain would make a much better Inquisitor. Love the facial work and gore on the hammer. Awesome GKT conversions by the Warseer dude. Not sure if those other GKT's are resin or some other material that's used in sculpting. My heart skipped a beat for a second as I thought they were new Forge world stuff. By the date they're obviously the master sculpts for the Termies. Cool to see them in their original state though. Good find Constantine.

There is three different possibilities.

1. Resin GK terminators, for forge world.

2. PLASTIC GW Gk terminators, for gw range (which would own)

3. Regular GK termies painted grey too show detail.

I hope it's 1-2

That picture was taken in 2002 Klomster so I'm pretty sure they would have been the original sculpts for the metal Termies we use now. They were just being previewed at that time it seems. I really wish it were otherwise though.

I didn't know that, so it's kinda 3 then.

I thought they looked similar.

I almost fell out of my chair when I first saw these pics, but noe I am inclined to agree with Brother Nemesis Force that they are original sculpts

Pretty cool though I can't see GK's wearing Daemon-trophy cloaks. It does make me wish I had a few bare-headed knigths in my force too just for some variety.

I agree Nemesis Force, the heads don't seem appropriate.
I also found this FW GK Dread and was totally fooled by the NMM!!! It really looked as though it were shining , What do you think brothers?

This is a great GK Grand Master.
He has used the black color scheme, and the hammer looks great.
I am not the biggest fan of the Psycannon coversion or the silver highlights though

Yes. Like I said before and will probably say many times again, the memory becomes a bit foggy at my age. I'm even more worried that I couldn't remember since this is such a beautifully done army.
