What would you like too see, what would it be about?

I would like too see the fellow stormtrooper.

An inquistorial one, sent out by an inquisitor too get intelligence on a cult.

Or maybe a first person rts, where you can play any race in the game, with any unit in the game, and you can control whichever unit you want.

I think being an Ordo Malleus Inquisitor would be fun, with gameplay similar to Jedi Knight. I don't think a FPS where you are a Space marine would work, but maybe as a scout. A soul Caliberesque thingy could work, but this is all just random ranting.

I think something like Faces of war, but with 40k, with all races and units would be awesome.

If you haven't tried that game try it, very fun too take the tanks ammo and strew it over the ground.

If you played an inquistorial acolyte like the rpg Dark heresy, it would be awesome too, an rpg style of game, if it had similar feel to it like jedi academy it would win awesome game of the year the next 40'000 years!

Sorry to revive an apparently dead thread but I couldn't help it Very Happy

How about a Republic Commando style game with you as the leader of a Deathwatch Kill Team! Loads of shooty action with excellent point and click squad command ability. A storyline would be easy to develop and take in the most common sights and sounds of the Imperium, hive world, space hulk etc etc. Any game developers reading this well what are you waiting for?

I think a COD4 style game where you could be a GK, SM, IG etc.. would be awesome. I sure you would agree Brothers that running around with a storm bolter and force weapon banishing Daemons sounds like fun. Running through a Hulk first person would be pretty amazing to!! plenty of heart pounding excitement!

I like the RC idea, mainly because it's one of my favorite games (still hoping for a sequel!!) and the same mechanics could be implanted into 40K, if you were Space Marines or (Inquisitorial) Stormtroopers. It could even follow the same sort of settings, first a desert world with a lot of mines, then a Space Hulk, and then Catchan! But also an Imperial hive world and an Assault on a Daemon world, where you start of on your ship, but daemons appear everywhere!! So you run to the Grav lift/teleporter/drop pod bay/thunderhawk, make a suicide attack on the planet, kill a Greater Daemon, and run away before the planet colapses on itself!!! If that's not the best game ever, I'll eat a squig.

This is what i'm talking about!

Keep the good game ideas coming!

A very interesting game could be that you are an imperial assassin.
For each mission you get you can choose what you wan't too play as.

If you wan't too sneak past the guards in disguise, only too pop out and slice the target in half! the Culexus (I think the polymorphine girl was called culexus) you can do that!

Or if the target is moving trough a city, guarded by alot of bodyguards but is going too have a public speech.
Pick him of as an Vindicare!

Or if you just don't wan't - Want too follow the ingame tips of beeing someone else and just want's too kill...
We always have our lovely friend, the Eversor too play around with.
(Just don't forget that he is as good as any other at sneaking too)

Could be real cool, and difficulty should become insane towards the end as 40k assassinations isn't just killing uncooperative gouvernours!

Thoughts please!

What about a Battle fleet gothic style game?
I was thinking that the Inquisitions Black ships could travel the galaxy battling Xenos and removing Rouge Psychers from planets before they become a threat. If planets aren't reached in time Daemon infestations could be under way and GK landing forces could be deployed leading into either a first person shooter or Real time strategy mode, depending on the level of infestation.
Of course if the =][= arrives too late then there is always the final option of destroying the planet.

Just a rough idea.
