1500 Mini Tournament Mordrak/Crowe

Hail Brothers,
In 10 days I’m entering a mini tournament at 1500 pts with my Grey Knights that I’m still building which having a painted army is not important, I’m going with what I have built and what I can get built on time this is my list I’m planning to use and input welcome as I still have some time to do any alterations. I will be facing mainly Marines, DE, BA, IG and Nids.

I plan to use Mordrak as a distraction unit to put the pressure on my opponent from the first turn and also make his decision of target priority hard and Crowe will go int the Razorback with the 5 man squad.

I think you need Psycannons more than the Incinerators, but apart from that its a reasonable list, you'll probably need to use your GM to make extra units troops however.

By the way, Crowe can't join the Razorback squad, he isn't an IC and is a single model unit.

I think that Castellan Garran Crowe may not join any unit so you cannot put him in a transport with another unit
But i am sure a brother with more experience than me will enlighten us.

Sorry just re read in the codex about Crowe thanks for the heads up, He will just have to run up behind a Razorback, I was planning on using Mordrak to make at least one of my dreads a scoring unit.

Hi I have had a rethink and look at what I have again and have come up with this to include more psycannons as mentioned above and more bodys on the ground the only real extra thing I will have to build is a SR what do you think

The Purifiers would deploy in the SR and the ten man GKSS would deploy in the Rhino with the 2 Psycannons or I could combat squad them if i feel the need leaving the 2 psycannons in the Rhino.

i would personally drop the banner on the ghost knights as it's use is disputable on a 5 man squad, specially once they're down 1-2 guys
i like the fact that your second list has a lot more troops, which imho you really needed when looking at the first list

i think you've got a pretty solid 1500p list here!

Thanks for the reply I was thinking that myself but dont know what to spend the points on either another member for my GKSS in the Razorback or another Purifier or Psybolt ammo on my 10 man GKSS

what can be really nice for objective games is a lone paladin to contest objectives with not so wise for killpoint games though hehe

did you give the razorback psybolt ammo btw? or the 5 man squad?

I gave the Rhino the psybolt ammo I don't see the point of giving it to a 5 man squad I don't think it's worth the points I like the idea of the paladin though will have to try that one day
