I constructed this list to have a massive hail of bolter and psycannon shots and transports to get my men to optimum range, basically i want to remain out of combat range until i feel comfortable with wading in to mop of what's left of the bolter fire.

I wouldn't use the stave on the Terminators. Too many points for what it'll do for the five man squad.
I'd put the points into giving the Grand Master a psycannon instead.

I'd thought of that but GM psycannon is 45 pts and the stave on the termi's is 20-25pts can't remember exactly. As well it gives me the 2+ save to take against fists and other instant kill weapons in CC.

Or for 15pts more than the stave for the GKTs, just give the stave to your GM. If he's w/ the termies in CC, you can be sure the hidden power fist will try to attack your GM instead of the squad and try to KO your GM. The longer your GM survives, the longer your GKTs will benefit from rad and psychostroke as well. My two cents...

Thought of that too, the down side being that I couldn't even afford to give the GM a special weapon. So i figured having a 3++ in CC with a sword could be the best i can give him. This list is exactly 2000pts and i had to change a Purifier Halberd in to a sword to make it work.

I will, i'll try to get a batrep and snag some pics of the fighting.

Oh and to expand on my tactics is depending on the mission i'll be giving purgation and purifiers scout in rhinos and if i get first turn then i can move them up 12" in pre-game movement and get them out and in to cover. Where i place the purgation squad will depend on terrain, as i'll try to keep them out of LoS. I'll be DS'ing my terminator w/ GM and libby on to them as well attaching libby to purgation and try to keep him in range of all my other squads for the shrouding bonus.

Hey, just read your list. I am wondering how it performed and against what. I am especially curious about how well the techmarine performed and if the conversion beamer is worth it.
