When working on this list, I mainly want to keep it somewhat fluffy. Meaning the Grand Master rides with the Pallies in a SR as they are his bodyguard and what not. Librarian with the reg terms in a SR and the extra termy unit is there to camp a home objective. The rifledreads pop armor as well as give another thing for the opponent to worry about than just the 2 SRs. The number of halberds in the units are flexible since they are free.

This list is a total work in progress still. Trying to decide if my home objective unit should change to a 10 man GKSS squad with 2 Psycannons, D-Hammer and Halbreds with a Rhino or a Psycannon Razorback. I think I have the points if I were to change them out. Also, I am looking at roughly 95 points still to fill. I can use some of that for those fairly naked HQs, just not sure what to take. any advice would be appreciated. Understand Purifiers are awesome, just really want to keep the Paladin squad. Any help is appreciated.

I am not really looking for competitive as much as "have some fun, but don't get my face totally bashed in" kind of list. Most people at my LGS play for fun unless a tourney is coming up soon. Very rarely does someone play Leafblower and the like in friendly games. All I am really looking for is a nice list for friendly play.

I really like your army concept.

One thing I'd do though is loose the Stave and the incinerator on the Paladins, make them 2x Psycannons. Helps the anti armour saturation, Perhaps your GM can carry one too, and your Libby would benefit from a couple of additional Psychic powers too (the shrouding, Sanctuary).

For extra fun you may also include Thawn in one of your Termie squads.

one question of curiosity though ... why not to take a DK instead of the dreads ?
and i agree with brother DonFer... you always need more psycannons !

Thanks for the coments! I have thought about a DK instead, but I wasn't sure if I would need the tank busting power of the rifle dreads. All though a DK would fit my "theme" of every thing having a 2+/5++. What load out do you suggest that would fit this list. I did think putting Thawn would be some fun inn the list too!

List definitely looks fun to play. The GKSS squad might not be a bad idea since they can be more mobile w/ a rhino compared to footslogging termies. They can also provide DS denial w/ their warp quake powers.

I am putting my models together and having some trouble deciding on the weeps for the reg terminators.

At the moment I am thinking of this (different that what is in the list above):

Justicar: Force Sword
Dude 1: Psycannon & Halbred
Dude 2: Halbreds
Dude 3: Daemon Hammer
Dude 4: Falchions

Is this too scattered? Should I go with 3 Halbreds instead of the Falchions? The Justicar is plain just so I don't lose anything terribly important should I have a Perils. Would hate to see that Master Crafted Hammer get sucked into the warp!

Also thinking of swapping the Riflemandreads for:

Dreadknight 275
Teleporter
Heavy incinerator
Heavy Psycannon

That is only five more points than the 2 dreads (and about $50 cheaper buying the models which is a plus!) What do you think of that load out? Too expensive?

As far as the points go especially on termies, falchions don't give the bang for the buck the Halberds do. I mean you cant beat free I6.

Remember that the Dreadknight is a monsterous creature and can fire both weapons. Ask your self if getting 12 psilencer shots and a heavy psycannon template on a unit after moving 12 inches is worth the points.

I think you may have confused the incinerator with the gatlin psilencer. Which leads me to ask is the psilencer better than the cinierator on a DK? That is potential for a lot of shooting 12+pie plate. Tempting

From my initial playtests i found having staves was WONDERFUL, as occasionally i recieved power attacks on different initiatives, and the 2+ just took them all. I wont speak to other specific loadouts, as I haven't tested enough, but i will say that when i ran with 2 swords, 2 halberds, 2 hammers, a staff, and IC with a staff, i found the combo of I6, S8/10, 2 different 2++ saves to soak up power wounds every initiative, and two 4++ that i didn't really care about really helped in CC and was very effective, so I thin doing a similar thing scaled down should probably work just as well, no? regardless I'd take advantage of our wound allocation and at least keep a couple different to wrap power attacks onto.

a 2++ save is great. but it's TWENTY FIVE points for a single save. That to my mind is an awful lot of points for a (cool) single save

that last list you posted looks pretty solid, although i dont understand what happens with the squad which doesnt get a ride, deepstrike?
shrouding looks helpful for your stormravens, sancturary will help you also from enemies with lots of assaulting units like orks.
