As a note of interest I use the imperial armour rules for the dreadnoughts and redeemer in case of point confusion and the psycannons.

Cool list and very unique as well. Out of curiosity, how do you handle not having any heavy a/t?

So far no problems since its rare for me to face a heavily armoured apponent, besides just like any water warrior I like to keep mobile and pick off the little stuff with storm bolter fire and then run in with force weapons against the armour and elites. With that I've only lost one or two games these last two months, currently I rank top five out of thirty with these guys!

I am only ranked as the 78 out of some 150 guys.
But that's just because that is the ranking in the nearest games workshop center which is far away from my place and nowhere closer is there any kind of list about who is in the top and who is in the bottom. Tho my friend Kate says that I am the best player she has seen,but that's just because i have had unusually good luck at my last games

Just a quick post, I thought Stern didn't count as your +1 HQ?

Stern can be your armies sole HQ but doesn't count towards your 0-1 limit. Meaning you can have a GM/B-C Hero and Stern in the same army. My congratulations on your impressive ranking Andarius.

but surely against an IG army running heavy on russ' you'd be decimated without any AT?

Similarly against a duo/tri LR GK list would you not be in trouble?

Yea you totally lack anything that could kill 14 armour, like literally.
In a objective orientated game an opponent with 2-3 LR's would have ultimate control of the entire game

Normally thats why the water warrior strategy used normal LR's, because the LC's provide the much needed anti tank.

Obviously for a tailored list where you only face 12 armour enemies its a hugely different story but that makes it a very specific list.

I've always enjoyed the tried-tested-true use of an angry land raider redeemer with angrier grey knights onboard, besides I play pretty well against IG since in the end games are won with troops not tanks. Oh yeah I will admit that they do help but now even a single grey knight can knock over a Russ easily, my only tank threats now are monoliths and other land raiders but that can be dealt with by my dreads and Stern if he's lucky. (thanks to strands of fate luck is on my side)

I'd definately be interested in playing my army that way if I had the models, would be extremely interesting I think
