What do to think? Very unusual I know but not something the opponent would see coming. The idea is to take and hold the objectives, with the razorbacks dealing with the enemy armour from the back.

That is a lot of knights...

One possible problem is that razorbacks can only hold 6 troops, not sure if you can split the 10 man squads to make that work, as I am 100% noob rules-wise.

Yes you can combat squad your ten man squad into two fives. The idea however is to run the Knights forward on foot to get into combat in squads of ten, with too many targets for your enemy to reliably deal with on your way in. The razorbacks hang back and fire. Or move up slowly towards objectives to provide cover

I think this would overwhelm many opponents. Youve got 120 str 4 shots per turn plus 5 twin linked str 9 shots. Watch out for Tau with their large blast ap2 riptides though with how many bodies you have on the table they would be sure to take out quite a few.

Actually it's 96 str 4 shots, 24-48 str 7 shots, and 5 twin linked str 9 shots. And d6 str 4 Eagle shots. Not to mention as whole lot of combat attacks too, potentially 82 ap3 force sword attacks on the charge and up to 12 (18 on the charge) daemon hammer attacks from the Justicars alone, plus Coteaz.

my bad i was still digesting 60 knights and I missed the psycannons and the storm bolters become str 5. Do you have 60 strike squad models out of curiosity? I will be quite interested in hearing battle reports from this list.

I don't have 60 yet myself but between mine and a mates models I can run this list. As yetI haven't tried it though as I'm playing in a campaign and don't want to risk it if it doesn't work. I'll try it in a friendly some time though and report back

Love the list - I might be tempted to combat squad all the strike knights.

- 5 x 5 + Corteaz start on the board in the razor's and warpquake

- 7 x 5 to deepstrike

- you might consider a regular inquisitor, or two even if you plan to DS - the servo skulls might be usefull. That said, Corteaz is great value.

Heldrakes will be your doom, just as Riptide pie plates. Eldar will also have a field with you with their long range shooting fest. RB will die quickly if you go second, and the knights will be out in the open for a slaughter. Perhaps good use of terrain is the key? I've tried a similar spam list myself, but actually nearly all armies have a way to deal with lots of marines in one turn.
I would suggest a wall of LRs is a better way to support spam knights. Will live longer and will deliver quite a punch as well. Besides with plasma going the iPhone way (everyone has it), there are few armies that can reliably deal with AV14.

i'm loving the list. A another idea is to replace the Razorbacks with Rhinos and just the Knights with Psycannons shoot out the top.

An alternative could be a purifier list, yeah you'll have a one squad less roughly but you will have so many more psycannons and they'll be better on the assault too.
