Grey Knight RP

The Deathwatch made slow processes on their way to the location of the drone. "Contact 80 clicks to our left, Brother Ti´Gran. 70 clicks, 60 clicks, 50 clicks, 40 clicks, 30 clicks. we should see them." "Squad, they´re above us. Make ready." Ramos assault cannon came into live and ripped through the ceiling of the floor. Some Genestealers broke through the ceiling and onto the floor just in front of the deathwatch. With two large steps Ti´Gran passed Brother Ramos and smashed the skull of the first stealer with his giant thunderhammer.

After the torpedo struck the side of the hulk Constantine and Azreal deployed into the coridoor the the torpedo had drilled into weapons at the ready. Constantine was glad that the short torpedo ride was over, he prefered not to put his fate in anyones hands other then his own and the Emperor's.

Upon entering the Hulk, Constantine could sense an undenialble trial of psychic energy eminating from the corridoor in fron of him and advanced down it with Brother Azreal, weapons at the ready.

Constantine opened an vox channel to the other Terminators "Brothers, let us maintain radio contact. Azreal and I have detected a strong psychic signature and are tracking it to its source".

"Brother Constantine, that could be a Genestealer Pariarch. Be careful. Such abominations could be as strong as a daemon."

The Deathwatch squad made their way toward the signal of the drone 200 clicks away. "We´re near the position of the drone, Brother-Sergeant. My auspex says next crossing to the left." "Confirmed, Brother Kolthor." The Iron Hand Marine was more maschine then human, both legs, his right arm and half of his face had been replaced by bionical implants.
Reaching the crossing the squad split up. "Brother Ramos, you, Halim and Koltor hold the position. Lodur and i pick up the drone. Koltor, find out what would be the fastest way to the reactor. I wanna get the job done before more stealers awake."

Constantine and Azrael continued down the corridoor towards the source of the psychic emissions, experiencing no resistance. The scanners of their suits did not pick up any signs of life or movement as the proceeded down the eirily quiet corridoor other than their own, the only sound the clanking of their armoured boots on the corridoor floor. Constantine remained vigilant as he proceeded, he also remembered the talks he had had with his order's Chaplain when he was presented with his ancient Force Weapon/Storm bolter. Constantine's weapon had been designed and forged millenia ago with the close quarters of Hulk combat in mind. The training Constantine had undergone with the Chaplain in its use left Constantine with no doubt that he would be able to vanquish the 'Stealer Patriarch, though he did allow himself a little excitement at the thought of fighting such a worthy foe, if indeed that was what was emmitting the psychic energy. Constantine couldn't help thinking that the Emperor had wanted him to weild this ancient weapon, and that he was destined by the Emperor to be here on this mission. Already he had twice faced a Daemon Prince and was now possibly hunting a 'Stealer Primarch, the most potent of 'Stealers. It seemed as though from the day Constantine had been awarded his weapon he had been tested to the limits of his physical and mental abilities. Constantine realized that his thoughts were wondering and snapped himself back to the present situation, reprimanding himself and saying prayers of concentration and penitence.

Constantine opened a channel to Azrael "This seems a little to quiete brother, it reminds me of our cleansing of the Hulk Angron's ire" That campaign had seen Constantine and his brothers engaged with Khorne tainted 'Stealers for two months of combat. Constantine and Azrael had fought beside each other for that campaign and against all odds had single handedly secured the still operational control room of the Hulk after the other members of their squad had been killed within the first 15 minutes after their boarding torpedo struck the Hulk by the enhansed close combat monsters. By capturing the control room the Hulk's propulsion systems were taken off line and bulk heads were sealed preventing 'Stealer reinforcements from taking back the areas Constantine and his brothers had secured.

The psychic pressence was getting stronger, and Constantine could feel the wards tattood on his skin and armour begin to prickle. Constantine thought to himself that it would not be long until they discovered the source of these emmisions.

Azrael could feel his wards burning and he looked over at his brother as if to convey that it was happening to him too. He focused and with a snarl he concentrated on the lock of his weapon, as the lock sprung open he drew it from his back. The weapon extended and all the ancient markings came to life, he flipped it around his hand and placed it behind his shoulder in a graceful manner. No matter how many brothers had seen this it still impressed them, this ancient weapon and how fluently their brother could move in this martial manner of hand to hand.
"brother prepare your self"
Azrael,s reflexes have been accused of almost being precognition, he relaxed him self and stared down the corridor his body weight shifting side on dropping into a wide legged stance 70% on the rear and the remaining 40% on his front leg, like a cat ready to pounce. He then spun the weapon around his hand, it almost went with a snap the point facing down the corridor, the movement almost looking graceful this battle pose. Azrael voiced to his brother,
"there brother movement"
Before Constantine could even replie Azrael in one leap spun the weapon while moving like he had no armour on, hit what ever the shape was pinning it to the wall. No sound was heard of the cut a testament to how sharp this weapon was it, cut Through flesh and bone the power of the wielder giving it almost super human strength like no other space marine. The geanstealers screams echoing down the corridor but before the cry lasted longer than 2 seconds, Azrael pulled the weapon out the four armed creature and spun around snapping the head straight off it with the the other end of his weapon the blood flying up the wall Azrael voxed.
"one less filth to worry about brother and this one was not possesed.....strange"
Azrael was now hungry for battle and began almost prowling like a cat in his mind, of what he could do to the next thing that needed to be dispatched. It almost gave him a sense of being of purpose when he was in battle but then for a moment his sense of humour came through
"shall we brother"
he gestured bowing to his brother as if asking for a dance. As he stood up straight the humour faded just like a switch this was his way like water he could be the hardest thing in the imperium but also the softest.

Ti´Gran and Lodur moved on toward the signal. Behind them they can hear the roaring of Bolters and Ramos´ Assault Cannon. "Lodur, we have to hurry." "Stealers!" Brother Lodur pulled the trigger of the heavy flamer and bathed the floor in flames. "Damn, there is a bulkhead. Open it, Ludor. I´ll watch our back" The Howling Griffon´s chainfist roared into life. Within seconds the chainfist cut through the door. "We´re in Brother-Sergeant." "Good work, Brother. Hold the position. I´m going in and get the drone." "Confirmed."

Ti´Gran entered the room, or better said the hall. Ti´Gran moved carefully through the rumble. A minute later the hall came to life. From different corners, the ceiling and the ground appeares stealer, 7 at all. Ti´Gran was prepared, his shield covered his left against the attacks of three stealer while he smashed the skull of another with his Hammer. That´s what he lives for. "On the Anvil of War. Into the Fire of Battle." With a large arc he hammered another stealer into the ground. The battle starts to become more balanced. The next stealer sprung forward but the shield blocked the attack. A fourth of the beasts rammed his claws into the left shoulder guard. The maschine spirit protested. The headup display showed Ti´Gran 23% damage on the shoulder pad. He turned fast around just in time to hit a stealer, that tried to get into Ti´Grans rear, right into the chest. But for a moment he was off balanced. One of the remaining stealers hit his left arm and he lost the grip of his shield. His shield gone and four stealers remains. He check up his chances. The four abominations encircled him. As one the four sprung forward to pull him down. A moment later he was engulfed in flames. Protected by his blessed Terminator Armour he was save. "That was close, Brother-Sergeant." "My thanks, Brother. Let´s get this damned drone and then back to the others. The drone must be over there in the corner."
It seems that the drone was still intact. Ti´Gran´s Armour was down to 70% effectivity but it would hold. The two moved back to meet the other Deathwatch members.

"Brother Koltor, how far to the reactor room?" "600 clicks, Brother Sergeant." "Ok, we have to press on. We must destroy the reactor. When this is done we will return to the extraction point and return to the ship."
The group moved on frequent assaults by genestealers slowed the progress. "Brother-Sergeant, 70 clicks in front of us, behind the bulkhead. But i have multiple life signatures, round about 20, maybe more." "This is it. Make ready Brothers. We will not fail. On the Anvil of War, in the Fires of Battle. Ludor, you will open the bulkhead with your chainfist and clean the room with your heavy flamers. We must be quick. Koltor, you will set the satchel charges. We others will give cover."
The chainfist cut screaming though the armaplast steel of the bulkhead. In the same moment as the cut was open a claw tried to grasp Brother Ludor, but the Lightning Claws of Brother Halim sliced through it. A second later Ludor pushed the trigger of his heavy flamer and bathed the stealers behind the door in burning Promethium. The squad moved in. All guns blazing they killed every stealer in range. "Ok, Koltor. It´s up on you, my friend." "Brother-Sergeant, they´re coming. I have 20... 25... 30 on my Auspex." "Squad, fire at will. Kill them all."
Ti´Gran smashed into two stealers. To his right again and again the flame tongue of Lodur´s heavy flamer lashed out and hold some of the beasts at distance. To his right he hears the roar of the Imperial Fist´s Assault Cannon. Halim, the Storm Lord, was in his element. He fought, ancient war hymns on his lips, against three of the stealers with his Lightning Claws.
"Koltor, how long?!" "10 seconds." "Brother Ti´Gran, i´m runing short on ammo for my Assault Cannon." came from the Imperial Fist. "My heavy flamer also got only 4 shots left." "I´m done. The timer is set to 15 minutes."
"You have heared him, retreat to the extraction point. Ti´Gran to all Imperial Forces. The Satchel Charge is set. 15 minutes until the reactor will detonate."

A sharp noise caught the White Raven Terminator and the Grey Knight's attention. Without hesitation they both raised their weapons, already prepared for what ever had created the noise. From around the corner ahead a metallic clanging could be heard, the sound of metal sliding across rough concrete floor. The heavy thudding of solid Power Armour boots.
Brother Azrael arrived, he quickly took note of his Brother's stances and advanced cautsiously, his foot steps light and quick. Constantine and the White Raven acknowledged him with quick nods.
The footsteps stopped abruptly. Brother Constantine indicated to Brother Haras, who was already slowly advancing with his Bolter raised. The Haras nodded to Contantine, who quickly and with finese' moved around the corner. He stopped in shock. Before him stood a fellow Grey Knight, helmetless but cloacked by a thick red cape though his Aegis Power Armour still easily visible. In one hand he held an engraved Bolt Pistol and in the other a Frag Granade.
The unknown Knight lowered his weapon and nodded, a smile growing on his face.
"Constantine."
He too lowered his weapon, also beggining to smile.
"By the Emperor... Legion?"

Just thought I'd jump in here, try and get the ball rolling again and such

Its great that you wanna get the roleplay going again,but you did notice,some of us have different named characters in this roleplay than our Forum names(like me for example).Also I'd appriciate that you be kind enought to post the info in the area where you give out info about the character(s) you will be roleplaying with.

Ah, apologies. Allow me to introduce my Role Playing Character:

Brother Legion, also an esteemed member of the Grey Knights. Him and Brother Constantine once served together, a very long time ago. But shortly after Brother Legion went missing for some time. To have seen him turn up mysteriously in this nest of Xeno's is beyond suspicious. It's darn right solid evidence, but the other Marines know that no Grey Knight is easily swayed to the side of Chaos. So they're forced to allow him to live until they, or him can prove his loyalties.

Brother Legion is the same height as any Marine (so fairly tall ), he was once a Justicar in command of a squad of Grey Knights. But that was before his disappearance. He has mid-length brown hair and never seems to wear his helmet- something his fellow Brothers disagree with profusely. He wears a lavish red cloak and a set of Aegis Power Armour. He carries an anointed Bolt Pistol as well as a Master-Crafted Nemesis Force Sword across his back.

I'm ok with eather so it doesn't matter to me,but I think you should atleast get a new thread to the characters if you decide to start a new RP.

But i also like to rp. It's fun running around as a badass character and hitting baddies. Oh, and that portraying your character correct thing is also nice

hey I'm back. Once again I'm sorry for letting the RP die. Now, if anybody would like to continue or start a new RP, let me know through PM. I'll be appointing a Co-GM just in case something prevents me from going the forum, or I am occupied with other stuff.

Don't have any good ideas, except for one....

That idea has died 3 times in a row, why i don't understand since the idea is solid and the playing area is rich and full of content.

The characters are well thought out (at least i think so) and the mission is meaningful.


I would love to game again as a techpriest though
