Grey Knights with allied IG 2K take all comers list

Hello everyone,

I am new on this forum but wanted to find some good advice on my GK.
I started playing them again a couple of month ago after a few years of pause.

I play against almost anything but have mostly difficulties with TAU at the moment (100% defeat against them...)
Here is the list i had in mind for 2K points that should be able to manage TAU and the rest as well.

HQ :
Coteaz
Command squad : 3 flamers (in vendetta)

Elites :
Paladin : Hammer
Paladin : Hammer
Marbo

Troops :
10 GKSS : 2psycanon, psyamo, rhino
10 GKSS : 2psycanon, psyamo, rhino
5 GKSS : psycanon
Veteran : 3 melta (in vendetta)

Fast Attack :
2* Vendetta (squadron)

Heavy Support :
Dreadknight : teleporteur, heavy incinerator
Dreadknight : teleporteur, heavy incinerator
Manticore

The idea is the following:
- Turn one i have the 2 GKSS in rhino that move front as far as possible as well as the 2 DK, the small squad stay behind guarding the Manticore (maybe Coteaz there for protection and Deap Striking/Flanking units)
- Turn two i have potentially Marbo, the 2 Solodins and the Vendetta with units inside coming in while the GKSS shoot and the DK assault.

Is there any obvious weakness in the list (except annhilition i dont find any but i am no expert)?

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I though it was only the Elysian Drop troops that got Vendettas as DT?

Not DT's just FA units with transport capacity.

In a Marbo / Vendetta IG list you might consider an Astropath to maximise reserve rolls.

I agree that the astropath could be usefull, but will it also help my GK reserve rolls by any chance? (because i have the 2 solodins there as well)
If it does i will have to find the points for it i agree.

I don't think it would I'm afraid as IG aren't battle brothers (not sure if it would work even then!). Our only way to modify reserve rolls is via Psychic Communion so either a cheap psyker inquisitor, GK Captain or a GK Grand Master could cover that for your solodins but not really worth worrying about too much really.

I will have to check my codex to check the price of astropath and see where i can find the points (maybe the flamers from command squad if it is not too expensive).
I agree that it would be usefull to have Marbo and the vendetta arrive when needed
as i am quite dependent on them.

I think a comms relay from a fortification might work on the whole army, though i'm not 100%

Interesting, i'd probably say no though as it's the GKs fortification and so on but its definitely worth a look all the same

Yeah, anyway, to but an Aegis + com i would likely have to take off some Paladins so not so interesting.
Does anyone remember how much is an astropath by any chance (ill check tonight otherwise in my codex)?
