New FAQs have been released

Please note that there have now been new FAQ's relased for the main rulebook and codex

One notable change for grey knights is Paladins are no longer characters. They have also confirmed that if you are in "locked velocity" you cannot switch to hover mode with your Stormraven.

That is a major buff to the NDK, espensive but brutal

yes and we will see more swords than in the past few weeks where the fists seemed to be the kings...
For the Pallies no longer Characters... does that rule change the wound allocation, because we can gear them differently anymore ?

Wound allocation is based on closest model for shooting and hand to hand, the only thing character did was give us look out sir, this will take palidins down a peg, provided it has happened to nobs the I will not complain.

Not really, I'm mean they're still 2 wound terminators and Draigo in the squad can still be lookout sir'd but most of what made them amazing was the fact they could look out sir/wound allocate the wounds around the squad, now you're just straight rolling until ones dead, then moving onto the next one.

Still a tough squad, but not something you can build an army around anymore.

Ha! That was the part I was missing, you could actually move around wounds until whenever...nice. Well at least this proves GW is actually doing some playtesting for this ed.

I have to agree, GW are already MUCH better than before at releasing FAQs I mean we've had 2 already!! Although I'm still bitter the unit my army was built around got nerfed so bad.
