Inquisitorial Henchmen Warband
Hey guys, I have been looking at picking up some Crusader's to add to my army. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what type of power weapons come in the box? I know there is a lot of talk about being able to give them different types of power weapons since the profile does not specify. I was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly what they have the possibilities of being equipped with.
Same question for the Death Cult Assassins as far as equipping power weapons.
My last question will be what is the most common way to form a Warband... or what is the most fun interesting way to form a warband?
Thanks for any help!!

Re: Inquisitorial Henchmen Warband
I'm not sure what box you're talking about since crusaders come in blisters, most people convert them Same with DCAs, no boxset, although most people use DE Wyches and convert them. For DCA the best thing is equip each model with a sword and an axe, that way you can choose between I6 Ap3, or I1 Ap2 if you need it..
There is no real common way to make warbands, there's just too many options. It comes down to personal preference and what your list needs. Some common options include:
6 or So DCA's + 3/4 Crusaders to soak up wounds
5 or more psykers for str 8 Ap1 blast.
3 x Warrior acolytes w/ meltaguns for suicide tank hunting.
Personally since I started taking Inquisitors I run 3 plasma cannon servitors. Incredibly cheap for what they can do, and reasonably effective. 2 rounds of shooting in a game can easily pay off their points cost, and if my Inquisitor is Coteaz they're also scoring.

brother Bigbri is right :
only 2 models of crusaders and 2 models of DCA, all in metal and now only available in blisters (1 crusader, 2 DCA) on GW online store... for how long they are available, i couldn't tell !
for the unit composition... see what Bigbri propose, it the common composition, even though others could be effective.

Well both, 1 Crusader and 2 DCA, are now available in finecast. But only through GW online store.
I myself thinking about what to do... Dont really like the wyches. But 4+4 same looking DCA sucks too. That model is not good to convert i think..

Re: Inquisitorial Henchmen Warband
DE from fantasy have some cool looking dual wielding models. If you're not constrained to just GW models then there is also a sweet looking female Menoth unit from PP.Newtpow wrote:Well both, 1 Crusader and 2 DCA, are now available in finecast. But only through GW online store.

Re: Inquisitorial Henchmen Warband
For a long range shooty war band get 2 jokaero weaponsmiths, 3 servitors with multi-melta, 2 crusaders, 4 warrior acolytes in carapace armour with storm bolters. Pop these in a chimera(multi-laser and heavy bolter) with Corteaz with Prescience and some other Divination discipline psychic power for a mere 330pts(230 for the warband and 100 for Corteaz). This allows you to handle almost everything. Imagine 5 multi-melta shots with re-rolls to hit, possibly increased weapon range by 12", rending ammunition......... This is a mobile bunker that looks humble but can possibly kill all vehicles and the likes. Very very cheap for such awesome fire power. They are troops too because of Corteaz. Coupled with Corteaz's "I've been expecting you" ability, this war band will send fear to deep-striking armies.
