1500 Point Purifier List
Been playing around with Grey Knights since the new codex was released, however I've always had problems facing horde armies so i decided to revise my list for the good old Purifier spam. I haven't had the chance to test play this list and probably won't for a while so was wondering if i could get opinions about this list. I will gladly answer any questions or confusions people have about my crazy list. Thanks in advance for the time you took reading this

Is the LR going to be a transport for any unit? If not, I'm thinking 2 psyflemen dreads might work nice too.

It will be carrying the 10 man unit, and the 10 man's Razorback will be Crowe's transport, if he lives long enough to move into it.
I'm not to sure about the dreads atm, simply because they can't pen AV14, and with lots of LR and Monoliths about, glancing stuff to death doesn't seem amazingly effective.

A) There are usually very few av14 vehicles rolling about (please take this with a grain of salt, as your club may differ wildly from the average). Land raiders are rare-ish in the most common lists because melta and lance are prevalent in a lot of lists. the new monoliths wont see a ton of play for the same reason, because they're basically a super slow land raider, and are even more vunerable because of our S10 hammers hit, at worst, on a 4+. Also, psycannons are moderately effective at dealing with AV14 (better than a lascannon)
B) dreads are pretty efficient at shooting at most things. Maybe not in this list, but at some time try them out. for 135 points they are monsters at destroying most light tanks and putting wounds on MC's or t4 multiwound models.
C) I really like land raiders + purifiers, but you dont really want to carry psycannon troops in a LR. They want to fire fire fire, and they cant do that in a LR
D) Purifier lists dont need a lot of incinerators, because of purifying flame.
If i were to suggest modifications to this list, i'd change the double incinerator squads to incinerator+psycannon. Leave the 2 psycannon squads as is. Change the last purifier squad to either not have psycannons, or just pick up an inquistor +Assassins instead. They're super cheap and fight better than purifiers. Give the inquisitor hammerhand+some grenades, and if you still want flamers put couple henchmen in there with them.

The 2 and 2 squad provides good utility to the unit, rather than driving forward jumping out and shooting/assaulting something then being stuck.
Purifying flame can't replace the utility of a incinerator all the time, despite how good it is.
That being said PsyC in a LR not on GKT is somewhat of a waste. Not a total waste mind you, since it still gives you some anti tank punch at range, but its not optimal.
S6 flamers over squads holding t3 multiwound characters is an absolute nightmare for DE, and ignores FNP which DE armies can easily get.

I've chosen to keep to 2 Incinerator units for both the razorback's and the flamers. I don't like relying 100% on my physic powers because of the amount of items and models that can stop it and also dice roll's that can cause problems. :s
I do and also don't agree with AV14 point. Yes my club do use them a lot but at the Last GT i went to over 5 games I faced 3 LR and 2 Battlewaggons all AV14 however I'm willing to consider that just my luck because out of all the armies i could have faced, i faced AV14 5 times in 3 games. :s
Crowe will just have to run and pray he makes it, If not well he made his points back in my mind making all my army scoring basically

Also goes well with the razorbacks running up and trying to thin ranks whilst i blast some shots with the cannons from the Rino's.

Battlewagons aren't AV14! well ok they are on the front, but their front is SO narrow that with a wide deployment you'll almost always be getting side shots.
