First Dark Eldar Pics!

Thought you guys might be interested to see some of the pics taken at gamesday and apparently released by GWS.

I have to say they are amazing models!

Here is a Blog: The Dark Eldar Kabal which is all about the DE and has been keeping up to date on this stuff, all the new pics are the first few posts.

I really like them......I will still wipe them from the table top of course

I hope the detail and coolness of these kits is a hint at what's to come for us

Very, very cool. None of the most recent codices have inspired me to start a new army. But this...no, no...must...resist...temptation...

Haha yea the models really are amazing, I'm waiting to see their rules to see whether I might be interested, although I am guessing not. I prefer GK type armies with really really good all round troop choices.

I'm really excited about the dark eldar stuff, looks really snazzy. Of course whilst I like their models I don't like the idea of playing sadistic space pirates as my army... a little bit too evil.

Very much so, I agree.
I am encouraged by this release. GW made DE players wait A LONG time for this, and I think that their wait is paying off.....Can you see any paralels here?

Dark Eldar players also had the WORST models in creation
Heres to hoping we get some love too :p

if you see the commentaries in the picture of the Mandrake concept ... you could see that this particular Dark Eldar could be the descendant of some DE bred with deamons ... so DE are truly our ennemies too !!

For the most part, Dark Eldar players hate it when their beloved army is related to Slaanesh/Daemons in general. For the most part, Slaanesh hates Dark Eldar just like Eldar and Dark Eldar return the hatred, but there have been "fluff" accounts where the Dark Eldar make pacts with Daemons and stave off Slaanesh with an influx of souls. Either way, the Mandrake does seem to connect Daemon/Warp infusion with the Dark Eldar.

I hate Dark Eldar! The models are awesome now, But I Still hate the Xenos filth!!!
I remember fighting them back in the day with my SOBs, and they were definitley a pain in the ass then!
I am looking forward to re-visiting the olden days in which I stomped those vermin into the ground! Only this time they will meet their end beneath Silver GK boots!!!!

Yea its a bit of a strange one really, the thing Dark Eldar fear most suddenly bred with them to make super warriors?
That being said I always found their fluff a bit flakey, but then I first chose eldar so its a given

urien suits very well with the DE imagery, i think.
some dark and cruel race being the cause of the slaanesh creation ... well i simplify a lot, but hey they are just bad-ass xenos !

Interesting. The last one looks like the DE version of Fabius Bile. At least we know the performance enhancing drugs will still be in the dex.
