Selling Tau Empty Selling Tau

Post by Krazy Bob Fri Mar 11, 2011 5:48 am

Hi guys,

I'm getting rid of my Tau, wasnt sure if anyone on here plays Tau or would be interested. If there is anyone I'll happily get pics of everything.

I have:

1 X Tau Empire Codex
2 X Crisis Battlesuits
3 X Stealth Suits
32 X Fire Warriors
2 X Pathfinders with Rail Rifles
12 X Kroot
1 X Devilfish
Several Drones
One or two models are painted, all are undercoated (Except some drones)
I'm happy to either send them as is or I can spray them back to black before I send.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

Cheers!

Pictures will help you sell these brother. But to be honest I think that this a bad time to try and sell Tau on this forum with the release of the new GKs.

Yeah, to be honest I didn't think anyone would be interested in the slightest hence the reason I didn't bother with pictures just yet.

Thought I would give the Brethren first refusal though Smile

The only thing thats painted properly is the devilfish, might just stick that pick up as I'm quite pleased with it haha

Selling Tau Empty Devilfish

Post by Krazy Bob Fri Mar 11, 2011 3:59 pm

How is it unfortunate dude? I mean apart from the hugely sucky weather hahaha where you from?

Heres some pics of my Devilfish, I have a soft spot for it as when I got back into the hobby this was thee first model I built and painted. I was pleasantly pleased with how it turned out and I learned a lot along the way!

Pics don't really do it justice but thats my fault for the poor lighting and crappy camera! I'll get some pics of the fire warriors up once I talk my Fiance into letting me use her camera lol

Its unfortunate, because the shipping cost wouldn't be light if I decided to buy any of your models, because I'm interested in starting a Tau army. And for the record,I live in Finland.

Post by Krazy Bob Sat Mar 12, 2011 3:07 am

If your interested in it I'll look into how much shipping would be and see if we could sort something out. Id rather they went to someone like u or the guys on here, and I may even be cheeky enough to ask for pics to see what u do with them haha

Would u want all the models or just certain ones? Just so I can work out a rough idea of weight for shipping

P.s. Iv got a GW carry case, the foam was actually cut for different models but the Tau sit in it fine. I could throw that in aswell if u want as it would give them protection in shipping? I'd also send all the extra "bits" I have relevant to Tau incase u have a "bits box" for conversions etc

Well I was thinking:
The Codex
The Crisis Suits
The Devilfish
12 Firewarriors
And 12 Kroot
Maybe even a couple of Drones to act as shield/marker drones. And how much would that make and how much would the army case add? Also what weapons do those Crisis Suits have,if at all?

New theyd be bout £130 - £140ish so how does £60 sound?

1 suit has a plasma rifle glued on

1 has a fusion blaster and missile pod

I'll also send you:

Seeker Missile
2 Burst Cannons
Missile Pod
3 transfer sheets (Unused)
2 Flamers
2 Fusion Blasters
Plasma Rifle

I also have 11 sprues of bits for Fire Warriors and Kroot, guns, arms, legs the usual stuff.

And theres a booklet telling you how to assemble every Tau model, or I think its every one.

I'll find out about shipping on Monday if thats cool?

I also have Imperial Armour Apocalypse II which has rules for some of the Forge World Tau Suits...I'd sell u it cheap my only worry is its got a bit of weight in it which would probably push shipping up. Your call dude, just wanted to let you know its there if you want it?

Well I'm don't really need the Firewarrior or Kroot sprues,or the painting booklet, because I plan on just deciding how I paint myself, when I see the models. And no thanks on the Imperial Armour too, since I don't really play Apoc and as yu said, its weight might increase the cost.

Cool, I didnt think the book would be a good idea shipping wise.

Yeah, the sprues are upto you dude, just thot I'd say there there if you want em, I'd throw them in for free as I don't need them...maybe I could stick on them on the end of one of my GK's halberds lol

You want the crisis suit weapons and the seeker missile though, yeah?

I'll find out bout shipping on Monday and let you know buddy

If I'm reading it right it's saying £11.20 for shipping? Is that right?

If you want I'll take half that so it would only be £5.60 shipping.

Does that make it a bit better?

I think you're maths a little off dude, thats too much! If we say only £5 for shipping for easiness and to make it a better deal for you that makes it £65 in total which I worked out as just under 75 Euro?

What I was thinking is I can create an item on ebay for exactly what we have discussed at the price we agreed and PM you the number to search for. That way you have the total peace of mind that you can pay through pay pal which protects you as if your package doesnt arrive they get your money back for you. I understand that although we chat you don't really know me so I thought this would be a good idea to give you peace of mind and it means you know your getting your models etc I know I'm getting the money and there's protection in place.

Sound good to you?

Well its all well and good, but the fact that I don't have a payal account and that transfering money from my bank account to that account takes 2-3 days,so it would delay the buying, but ofc those are only minor setbacks. So lets see if I can arrange this without any problems.

I'll let you know if there are any problems with this payment method.

Paypal is good, you can always use it to pay directly from your accounts, which can be more useful.
I think ebay also has buyer protection now too.
