Pictures in the battle reports ?

Some good stuff coming on the site and we are starting to pick up speed i thank everybody for a team effort well done!

Also: When you are doing battle reports grab some cotton wool buds paint them black with yellow and red and get that digi camera out and post your pictures up this will add to the reports if you dont have one thats ok but just a thought!

come on brothers we all have phones and 90% of them have cameras on them so get those pics up with the reports

That's really strange. I can see some posts but not all of them. Seems to only be this thread though.

Might be a sync problem with the forum.

Ah, I had that problem at first too Brother ZoDan. First get your image uploaded, using something like Imageshack. Then, once its uploaded there you'll be able to find a URL for its specific image, and you can copy/past that into your post, with [img] on either side of it. The picture should appear directly in your post; there's also a button for it in the post options.

The / is important or it will not work. And the site i use for uploading pics is http://photobucket.com/, i think it's good as you can choose the upload size (a bit anyways) without having to tinker with the pics in a image editing program.

This is a total tangent, but it would be great to have a "youtube" battle report documentary on a/ game(s).

hi i like youtube battle reports but it depends on the person speaking and if they have a boring / annoying voice

but i typed in 40k battle report in youtube and the first one to come up was grey knights vs orks and the guy doent have an annoying voice

I...... I have a confession Brothers. Why I don't post pics is that 90% of my GK are unpainted. My tau got almost entirely painted, and I can just never nail down a color scheme i really like, and GK models are so time consuming for such a slow painter as me. My other projects are easier so they just pick up steam. My current project is only 1/2 way through, but hopefully ends in a month and I can get some time in to paint a few before the new codex comes out.

I might relent and give pictures before then, But i am ashamed to disgrace the emporer. For all my big talk and tactics, I am unpainted.

Well, I guess we'll just have to be patient until you're ready to post your pics

its the same with me i hate to paint models and even worse is i hate painting metal models but i have painted most of my vechiles

I'm updating this thread because I just saw it and think it's important . I believe we should push for photos of battles, in fact if I go to my Local GW tomorrow for a battle I'll post some pictures up. I was really proud of myself for having most of my GK stuff painted for the couple of battles (bar the bases) and it look awesome compared to grey/white/black models most people seem to have.

More photos with phones can't be so hard. Even if they are no painted guys I'm a visual person and respond a lot better to photos than text . They're great for helping to explain what's going on in a battle too!
