It's been since around the time of the Eldar 6th. Ed. release that I've played 40K. So with the addition of supplements, dataslates, and Escalation, I'm unsure what I'm in store for when I get back out there and fight for the Emperor's glory.

My list represents what models I own. So my lists are predicated on my limited stock. I'm very interested in your ideas and strategies.

I was going to join Kaldor with 4 Paladins and 1 Apothecary. I considered bringing them via Stormraven.

I would set the remaining Paladins units in field and assign one the squads to be accompanied by  the Dreadknight and the other with the Dreadnought.

Al odds are against me, but when hasn't that been the case for the Grey Knights. May the His hammer and will guide my ways!

you do need to put points against your unit choices nineteen. but other than that i'd say good luck with your list!

It's looks good but don't forget the psycannons with the rending rule and decent rate of fire when carried by terminators.

Other then that I wish you luck and hope you enjoy your army.

one problem with paladins is psycannons become expensive for them....

also one major problem you will have is lack of numbers against mass firing armies like Tau, Eldar (now both have had codexes update), and IG.

I've tried a full Pallie list and it's not that weak
Of course you'll have some troubles against heavy firing armies such as Tau or Eldars, but Pallies aren't weak ! Evil or Very Mad
They have 2 wounds good armour savings especially with Draigo 3++, they have very decent fire power - Btw Forget the cinnies for the Pallies and use the 4 times firing rending Psycanons... Use them and abuse of them !  Twisted Evil  -
And they can be easily hidden, because they are few !  Wink
And then they can't be shot at when they are in CC !  So put them quickly in CC ... They are good at that too !  Wink
And one last piece of advice : don't make 3 pallies units of 5
Make a big one of 10 and one of 5... If you roll the annihilation scenario then i can assure you that the 10 pallie unit will be very hard to destroy... And you have nearly won because of the small number of units you have !  Twisted Evil

Brother Aubec, if I drop the cinnies in favor of the psycannons, I would have to drop either the Stormraven or Dreadnought to stay within my points. What would your suggestion be? I'm thinking of dropping the Dreadnought.

I'm on vacation and don't have my codex at Hand but There aren't so much différence of points between Psycannons and incinerators so if you drop one pallie - or 2 - it could be enough...  scratch

There's a 15-point difference between the two special weapons. In order to exchange the cinnies to psycannon, I could drop the Narthecium. I now have enough points to have 6 Psycannons total. In addition, I'll combine the two 5-man squads together.

I'm left with 30 points. That would be enough for either Huricane Bolters on the SR, or psybolt ammo or a brother banner for the 10-man squad.

I hate giving up an apothecary, but that seemed the best way to arm more psycannons.

And to be true i think the Apothecary isn't worth his great cost !  Evil or Very Mad
