Re: Grey Knights vs Orks Andarius's 2000 point battle report
Turn 1:
The Ork player had the initiative and took it. Moving up his Deffkoptas forward over a terrain piece along with his bike squad to act as a distraction to the far side of the table. Positioning his Battle Wagon he launched both his Kannon and Lobba against my Dreadknight. Both had missed, deviating far out of range of any of my troops.
My Grand Master chose Hammer of the Rightious for his combat tactic but I only rolled a 2, opting for my Terminators to gain the benefit. My response to his forward striking units was to move my Interceptor squad up to face off against his Bikes and position my terminators to target his koptas. 16 Storm Bolter shots and 8 psycannon shots reduced his fast attack options to dust. My Dradknights had moved forward to face his Battle Wagon head on, firing their heavy psycannons to penetrate his armor and kill a squad of Shoota Boyz from behind. Only one of my Dreadknights could make it in assault and barged right into his Battle Wagon, causing 4 penetrating hits and making it explode! Killing 2 Nobz in the process.
Turn 2:
Wide eyed after such a devastating blow he tried to call in his dakkajet, failing the roll with a 2. Moving his Kommandos forward by transport he tried to floor it towards my troops to get within range. Terrified of dealing with the Dreadknight head on he unloaded his entire ranged salvo against him; 32 shoota shots and 12 Big shoota shots to save against and failing only 2. He moved Ghashkull in with his nobz and assaulted my dreadknight, eventually killing it but not without losing 3 nobz in the process.
Deciding to leave his HQ alone after losing a dreadknight I sent it towards his slugga boyz to keep them out of the fight. Shunting my Interceptors forward I positioned them towards his Kommandos, while moving my strike squads in rhinos around to corner the rest of his army. My terminators fired on the trukk with 8 psycannon shots, destroying it instantly and pinning his burna boyz, leaving my Interceptors open to finish them off with 16 storm bolter shots and 4 psycannon shots, annihilating the squad. My strike squad fired their full salvo of 16 storm bolter shots and 4 psycannon shots into his Shoota boyz, killing the entire squad in one go while the other fired upon his Nobz lead by Ghazghkull. The result was not sound as it only killed one Nob. My Dreadknight kill 4 boyz in assault.

Turn 3:
Losing troops fast he rolled for his Dakka Jett again and failed with a 1, with his troops in ruins and with a Strike Squad in front of him he decided to take the only option before him and shoot at the squad, killing 2 knights before charging in. I had the higher initiative and struck back after overwatch (missing all shots) and killed 2 Nobz. Ghazghkull annihilated my squad easily with his remaining Nobz and his attacks. My Dreadknight continued to harass his Slugga Boyz, killing 4 more before the one Nob in his squad caused 1 wound.
Moving forward with my troops I circled around Ghazghkull and boxed him in, sending my interceptors to kill off his remaining Shootas while the rest of my army fired their entire storm bolter payload and psycannons into his squad. 32 Storm Bolter shots and 12 Psycannon shots later the only servivors were Ghazghkull and his ammo grot. Again my Dreadknight picked off another 4 orks, causing them to roll for morale and failing with an 11, forcing them to retreat off the board.
Turn 4:
At this point my opponent is laughing hysterically at the results and makes a desperate roll for his dakka jett, rolling a 5 it finally comes in and starts firing upon my terminators. None of the shots hit, leaving my squad untouched. Turning away he tried to hold his sides while laughing and moved his HQ behind a building to hide..
My Terminators responded to the jet by firing upon it! Blowing it out of the sky with Storm Bolter fire. With a full squad of Grey Knights, Terminators, Interceptors and a Dreadknight bearing down upon his Leader he shook my hand in surrender.

A solid win Andarius, well played sir.
A few notes on the army list:
You decided to pay for mastercrafted hammers in the Strike/interceptor squads whilst the Terminators who have access to free hammers we're only given halberds. What was the thinking behind this?
Was the psybolt ammo on the GM added for convenience when rolling hits from the squad? Did you consider an Incinerator instead for the same points?
If you could ever be tempted to make a few modifications and add a third Dreadknight for the same points......
GM

Re: Grey Knights vs Orks Andarius's 2000 point battle report
The terminators were given halberds as opposed to hammers for the initiative boost, hammers are good but since they and the GM can stack hammer hand I felt that it was unneeded. I usually play defensively with my Terminators like a mop up crew, the others squads were given master-crafted hammers because those would be more active, seeking out targets and taking them out. The hammers for THOSE squads were really just in case they dealt with either a vehicle or high toughness target.
As for the dreadknights that is an interesting approach but I'm more fond of the heavy psycannon for its collateral; even if I may miss my target it can still hit something, plus the rending special rule helps take out more and potentially kill tanks. (A feature the heavy incinerator lacks) I am deeply in love with the nemesis great sword, it has granted so many hits and wounds that I can't think of NOT taking it.
If this fight has taught me anything I'll take out the master-crafted upgrades to my troops and fast attack and buy 3 servo skulls in their stead. This should keep the board relatively clear of infiltrators and offer my dreadknights better aim.
I've learned in the past that previous opponents have taken steps to actually try to remove servo skulls from the board, only to run into firing range of my squads
