1500 Dreadknight List

Tonight I'll be trying out a list that appears to be redundant but hopefully effective.

1495 (5 Points to Spare)

GM

20 GKSS (Swords and 4 Psycannons)

3 DK (PT, GS, and Hvy Inc)

Aegis Defence Line w/ Quad Gun

Strategy:

Combat Squad GKSS into 4 units; each unit containing 4 swords and 1 psycannon.

Rely on Grand Strategy to potentially maximize my ability to choose the DKs as troop choices.

Deployment would consist of 2 combat squads behind the AGL with the GM leading them. I would also include 1-2 DKs. I'm unsure of their exact placement, whethere side by side each other or flanking each side of the board.

I'm then considering reserving the last 2 units of GKSS and DK to Deepstrike later to contest objectives.

Any thoughts or advice?

Last nights game seemed uneventful against the new gun line Tau. By the first half of Turn 2, I was virtually eliminated.

Gutted. Although it seems like a fun list to play with 3 NDK's I don't think it will be very competitive unfortunately. I think it has too few bodies for a footslogging list, but that's hard to compensate for without dramatically altering this list.
