500 GK list

I was wondering; are many people utilizing allies in their Grey Knight army lists now, if so which ones? I was thinking if I expanded further it might be fun to include some Imperial Guard stuff as they have lots of BIG guns!

Good choice imho, There's an I.G. variant where you tanks and vehicles become troops. I forget what it's called but you take that and use the GK as infantry and then MOW DOWN THE HERETICS!

So having bought and mostly built my planned 750pt army, I have sold some more stuff so couldn't help looking into just expanding it up to an even 1000pts:) 

Please remember the premise for this list is to have FUN, but still stand a chance of winning some games! I want to theme it around an inquisitor and his retinue setting off on a small mission.

With that in mind this is what I've come up with to expand to 1000pts:

HQ:
Ordo mal inquis, tda, psycannon, servo skull=83

ELITES:
Henchmen Warband: 6 psykers, 1 mystic, 3 WA with plasmaguns, chimera=167

TROOPS:
5 GKT, psycannon=225
5 GKSS, psycannon, halberd on justicar=115
10 GKSS, 2 psycannons, hammer, halberd on justicar, rhino=275

HS:
Dreadnought, 2x TL autocannons, psyammo=135

The idea is that the OMI joins the henchmen squad in the Chimera, whilst the big GKSS goes in the Rhino. The small GKSS can act as a backline support unit whilst the transports supported by the dread push forward. The GKT can then either deepstrike in (hence the mystic!) or deploy as normal.
The servo skull was only because I had spare points!

So what do you think? I think it's nicely themed and should be fun. I really like the look of the Chimera as far as tanks go. Is it worth putting the heavy flamer hull option on Chimera or is it best to stick with the heavy bolter?

Let me know what you guys think as I still haven't bought the last of the list and don't wanna waste money;)

Well, I eventually decided to stick to 500pts as it's cheap and easy! As such this is the list I settled on:

HQ:
Ordo mal inquis, pa, combi-plasma=43

TROOPS:
5 GKT, psycannon=225
10 GKSS, 2 psycannons, hammer=230

Should be fun:)
