Vortex power Empty Vortex power

Is there anything in a faq somewhere that states how many force points are required to cast Vortex when paid for from either the Space marine or the Grey knight codex.I know that the psy card is 2 force points but I cannot find anything on the ones in the normal codex.
My point of view would be that it is 2 force points but I cannot find anything to back that up.
Please supply location of the info if it is out there.

It states in the FAQ that all powers cost 1 warp point unless listed otherwise in the power's entry, and that powers without a cost listed still only cost 1 warp point to use. This was in response to how many warp points do older powers cost. As it stands, the only powers the cost more than 1 warp point are listed with their cost as such in the newer 6th ed books.

Ok thanks, just seems strange that a power that is paid for in a codex requires 1 and the same spell from the pay cards requires 2, but stranger things have happened

Can I just ask why you're considering vortex of doom?

it's a 12" shooting attack that if you get perils resolves over the librarian. and can scatter.....

IMO if you want a shooting attack take Smite.

It was a question for someone else, and I just wanted to get the answer right with info to support it. I also do not mind the spell, big risk and big gain.
