Greetings all
Hi all, I am new to the Grey Knight forums as well as to the game of Warhammer 40k in general. I've recently just graduated from college, and now that I have a full time job to fund my interests I've picked up Warhammer 40K as a hobby. A collective group of my friends who play the game recommended Grey Knights for me to play because it fits my personality and they're just plain bad ass.
This past Saturday I picked up the codex, two boxes of Grey Knight troops as well as Captain Stern for an HQ to start off my army. I also played my first game against a friend who just started to play as well who fielded Black Templars. In terms of where to take my army from here I was thinking about picking up my first squad of terminators, an Inquisitor Lord, and death cult assassins, however I would love suggestions from the more experience players on this forum if this is a good direction to go in.
I am also in the process of familiarizing myself with the rules as well as the ins and outs of Grey Knights. This forum is really helping me get up to speed on Grey Knights because of the plethora of great information all over it. However there are still some terms I'm not familiar with and will probably be asking some basic questions in order to fully understand the topics you guys are discussing and really learn all there is to know about Grey Knights. My first question I guess is what does PAGK stand for?
I'm looking forward to learning more about Grey Knights and meeting/discussing with everyone the finer points of this amazing army.
In the bond,
Brother Captain Zaithius

Terminators is the reason i started with grey knight.
They are cooler. Just that, if someonesais - says, "-Oh theese are so cool" i just say, Gkt are cooler!
Many cases anyway. Good luck with your collecting and may the emperors light guide your path!

Hello and welcome. As I found out not long ago this a perfect place to start out as a budding Grey Knight player. I hope your experience is the same. It took me awhile as well to figure out what PAGK was. In addition to DB's list of abbreviations:
FAGK: Fast Attack Grey Knights
FAGK: Fast Attack Grey Knights
NemesisForce- Inquisitor

Welcome mate, I'm glad you haven't brought the daemons of foul grammar and spelling with you. I hope to see you around here more and let me see some pics of your army!

Re: Greetings all
Thank you so much for the warm welcome . Also I appreciate the quick abbreviation guide, it has made navigating the website and understanding the content much easier. After looking through some of the different army configurations for different point values I will definitely be getting my first terminator squad as well as some storm troopers in order to have more board presence since for now I can only field small games(500-600).
Only a few of my models are painted but once I get pictures of them, I will definitely post them.
See you guys around!
