Hi all,

After finding Klauzer's list, which looks awesome, it seeded an idea:

HQ:
Ordo Malleus Inquisitor - Power amour, Psychic power/sword, 3x servo skulls (72pts)
Ordo Malleus Inquisitor - power amour, Psychic power/sword (63pts)

Troops:
10x Terminators - 2x Psycannons, 2x hammers, 8 halberds, psybolt ammo (470pts)
10x Terminators - 2x Psycannons, 2x hammers, 8 halberds, psybolt ammo (470pts)
5x Terminators - 1x Psycannons, 1x hammers, 3 halberds (225pts)

Heavy Support:
Purgation squad - 4x Psycannons, 1x sword, Teleport homer (225pts)
Purgation squad - 4x Psycannons, 1x sword, Teleport homer (225pts)

Total = 1750

So the idea is to secure home objective with the squad of 5 Termies
Up to mid field with Purgation Squad
Deep Strike in with 2 units of 10+Inquisitors (for the twin linking psychic power) in support.

Thoughts?

i dont know. the 10 Termi + IOM squad is good.
But u have only 5 Terminators and 2 Purgation squads on field at 1750 points. Purgation squads are only marines. I would say at least one of your squads is dead before even one of the termi squads arive. Rolling Eyes
And with only 5 moving units that would hurt alot.

From the top of my head i would change one purgation squad with a 5 man terminator squad. Deploy both 10 man Terminator squads with IOM + your purgationsquad.
Then u have a hard moving firing line and you re able to DS your 5 man Terminator squads where ever u need it. With ur Purgation squad behind your Terminator wall u still have a teleport homer when they arive.

I could always combat squad both units of 10 or just one and put Inquisitors with either unit and DS them so I would start with 15 Termies + 2x Purgation squads on the board

Hi Brothers,

Had a rethink and decided to scrap this idea, feel in the trap of wanting to kill everything and not play the missions.

The way I see it is when it comes to primary objectives 1/2 missions are objective based, in 1/6 heavy support give VPs, in 1/6 fast attack give VPs and 1/6 destroyed units give 1VPs. Then add your 3 secondary objectives
So I was looking at it this way, I need tough Troop choices, tough HQ and if I go with no fast or heavy slots, unless there nails, then I don't give VPs away. I can use Elite slots as they can contest/deny and don't give VPs away apart from in 1 out of 6 missions.

Here's what I was thinking:

+ HQ + (275pts)

Lord Commander Draigo (275pts)

+ Elites + (530pts)

8x Purifiers (265pts)
- 2x Psycannon
- 4x Nemesis Force Halberd
- 1x Nemesis Force Sword
- 1xNemesis Force Daemonhammer
- Rhino

8x Purifiers (265pts)
- 2x Psycannon
- 4x Nemesis Force Halberd
- 1x Nemesis Force Sword
- 1xNemesis Force Daemonhammer
- Rhino

+ Troops + (945pts)

5x Paladins (630pts)
- 1x Nemesis Daemonhammer
- 4x Nemesis Force Halberd
- 2x Psycannon

10x Paladins (630pts)
- 2x Nemesis Daemonhammer
- 8x Nemesis Force Halberd
- 4x Psycannon

Total = 1750pts

That's a total of 50 wounds, Paladins will be more difficult to shift with dakka due to having the 2 wounds, the Purifiers bring 2 units that can move up to try and get a VP from "Line Breaker" from Scouting thanks to Grand Strategy or could be scoring also.
I won't be giving any Fast or Heavy VPs away, and should be able to deal with opponents with Psycannons, well hopefully Smile

I could double Dreadknight instead of Purifiers as I love the models and have 2 painted but I don't think they'll be more efficient.

Any way, please dissect Brothers.
