Hey Everyone!

Hey, i just recently decided to get back into games workshop. Im 21 now but the last i played any tabletop was when i was 15, i wanted to start a new army and came across this forum as i was looking at grey knights. Just wanted to say hi as i will be scouring the forums for different setups and strategies involving the knights. Im in the process of going through the 6th edition rulebook for 40k i was wondering if there was a 6th edition GK codex? Also im going to start to build my army this week if anyone has any tips revolving around making a versatile GK force that is near unstoppable please feel free to send a aspiring GK player some tips! Welcome to the forum Aphex

The GK codex was one of the most recent 5th edition codices - as with the other latter releases it was written with 6th in mind so should stand up pretty well to Chaos, Eldar and Tau when they get re-done

Welcome to the forums Brother!

6th ed is a lot of fun to play. Although as far as a "near unstoppable list," you'll come to realize that 6th ed actually leveled the playing field for us.

In my personal opinion, the GK codex really dominated 5th ed. 6th ed brought in several factors that changed that. I like it though. The best way to get a list going is to post it under the Sector Command thread and let our fellow Brothers offer their critiques and suggestions.

Thanks for the reply guys, i didn't mean "unstoppable" literally i just wanted to know what kind of build i should go for that can deal with most situations ill encounter in a standard game. Balanced build per se. Thanks for the opinions guys ill check Sector Command.

As mentioned 6th changed a LOT of things for us, so people are still re-feeling out the best builds. Most battle reports coming in seem to say 1-2 DK, especially with teleporter, usually work out pretty well.
