1000 points options. Help me choose!

Me and the partner have just finished building a necron army and I am looking at creating my own force to game with. Really liking Grey Knights and am getting a few ideas reading the codex and posts here. Have come up with a few potential lists. At the moment I have narrowed it down to three options but I am not sure which to run with. Having not actually played yet its a bit difficult to weigh the pros and cons and I'd like a bit of feedback. I understand psycannons are one of our strong points. The crowe option would let me spam a lot of purifiers giving me 21 bodies and 6 psycannons. The second option would give me a few more bodies and the same number of psycannons. I am leaning towards the third option at the moment although its changes by the hour I would get 1 less psycannon but the added durability of the terminator armour. Crowe seems like a cool guy but I am wondering if a heavy purifier force will be flexible enough. I will be encountering Necrons, Blood Angels and Tau in the near future. Would like something that can perform on all fronts and be fun of course. Feel free to suggest anythign that doesnt fall within these lists I am prepared to go back to the drawing board again.

As a point of note yoiu should not put individual points costs down in army lists as GW will do nasty things to the forum and we want to keep it open.

I think you are costing your OMI HQ choices slight wrong as well. As the OMI will cost you 65 (in terminator armour (you get the hammer and storm bolter with the armour) and then you pay 15 more for the psycannon. Most would suggest you take psyker mastery 1 also so you can get the primais power from divination. (rerolls to hit is good) ( you do not have to take the force sword - as per the FAQ)

Try to keep squads to size 10 if you can, as the ability to combat squad them will allow you to have 2 units of troops (you cannot use that to meet your force chart requirements) also any unit wide upgrades become more worth while. So try to avoid taking a unit of 9. (The 10 man squad will also allow you to have that additonal psycannon in also)

have a look at this list for a starter and see what you think, I am sure that my brothers here will have other suggestions for you also. It seems close to what you are thinking.

OMI in terminator armour with Mastery 1 - 95 pts
10x Terminators with 2 psycannons and psytbolt ammo - 470pts
10x GK SS with 2 Psycannons, 2 hammers and psybolt ammo with rhino - 300pts
1x Dreadnought with TL Autocannona and Psybolt Ammo - 135pts

if you then want to go to 1500 - I would add a 10 man GKI squad and a NDK.
The Dread is the best ranged AT we have for the cost. keep him at home base with the GKSS (split if needed) to claim objectives. These guys are used to capture home objectives and provide ranged support. Only 24" thou - the psybolt amoo is worrth it as you pay 2 points per man to get +1 str (well it only effects 8 of them so just over 2 poitns)

I would suggest to leave purifiers until you can field a few more points, or if you want to go with them then field just those, which means you have to take Crowe to make them troops. Remember he cannot join units as he is not an IC.

I suggest you drop the Rhino in either option 2 or 3 in favor of Psycher Master 1 (Divination) for your OMI.

Another option to consider is to drop the Purifiers and take a Dreadkinght in its steed and use the remaining points to add (3) servo-skulls and psybolt ammunition for the both troop choices. Or take the DK option, forego the psybolt ammunition and take an additional OMI with psychic master level 1 and power armor to lead the GKSS.

Been away for the weekend. Thanks for the advice. I have removed the individual points costs (I didnt know I was infringing any rules I am sorry.) I am not related to Epidemus, Epidema is a name I have been using during my gaming activities for a while now so its just a coincidence but it did amuse me when I saw it I like the Nemesis Dreadknight model and wanted to work one in at some point. Based on the advice given I quite like this:

So now should I go with Heavy Incinerator or Heavy Psycannon on the NDK?

I think Heavy Incinerator is better. It might have one less Str but doesn't scatter, it's cheaper, and it has an optional 12" range extension.

There's a thread about how most people like the DK's load out. It'll just mainly say that Personal teleporter on the DK is amazing.
