Some lists to discuss

ATM not much to do at work so i had have some time to write some lists i wanna give a try. They´re not against a specific opponent or race. Sometime i will use units/options only to test them. I need more experience with the new ´dex. So here they are:

1750 Infantry

Grand Master: MC Incinnerator, MC Halberd, Rad and Psychotroke Grenades

5 Terminators: 1 Hammer, 4 Halberds, 1 Psycannon
5 Terminators: 1 Hammer, 4 Halberds, 1 Psycannon
Strike Squad (10): 1 Hammer, 2 Psycannons, Psybolt Ammunition, Rhino
Strike Squad (10): 1 Hammer, 2 Psycannons, Psybolt Ammunition, Rhino

Land Raider Redeemer: Multi Melta
Nemesis Dreadknight: Heavy Incinnerator, Greatsword, Personal Teleporter

It should be a solid allrounder list with some mobility.


1750 Terminator

Grand Master: MC Incinnerator, MC Halberd, Rad and Psychotroke Grenades

Vindicare Assassin

10 Terminators: 2 Hammers, 7 Halberds, 2 Psycannons, Brotherhood Banner, Psybolt Ammunition
10 Terminators: 2 Hammers, 7 Halberds, 2 Psycannons, Brotherhood Banner, Psybolt Ammunition

Land Raider
Dreadnought: 2 TL Autocannons, Psybolt Ammunition

LR and Vindicare should take out tanks. The Terminators will walk as solid walls of grey steel and the Psyfleman will give firecover. The terminator squads could be split into combat squads.


2000 Points Mordrak

Grand Master Mordrak
5 Ghostknights: 1 Hammer, 4 Halberds
Librarian: MC Halberd, Empyrean Brain Mines, Might of Titan, Sanctuary, the Shrouding, Warprift

10 Purifier: 1MC Halberd, 9 Halberds, Psybolt Ammunition
venerable Dreadnought: Assault Cannon, DCCW with heavy Flammer, Psybolt Ammunition

5 Terminators: 1 Hammer, 4 Halberds, 1 Psycannon
5 Terminators: 1 Hammer, 4 Halberds, 1 Psycannon

Stormraven
Nemesis Dreadknight: Heavy Incinnerator, Greatsword, Personal Teleporter

The only list that is tested with great success.

So what do you guys think?

I personally like the 1750 terminator list. I might give that a try sometime

In your infatry List you should make your Terminator unit 10man and combat squad. Also your Grand Strategy won't go very far with unyielding anvil with only the Dreadknight, perhaps a 5man Paladin Squad?

Also with this list you may struggle with AV 12 as Pysriflenaughts do pyscannons job vs AV 12 a lot better (mathhammer)

On your Terminator list who does your Grandmaster go with? Might be worth considering options to get him inside the LR with a unit.

I like the look of mordrak 2000pts.

The Terminator list sounds good. And it fits the background, which makes it all the more spangly in my eyes. If you get all the terminators rerolling 1s to wound via the grand master you're laughing.

Is there a reason you have 1 bloke with a sword in each unit?

The terminator list is good.
He doesn't have 1 GKT with a sword in each unit, they are holding the banners which replace the NFW.

Ah, I forgot about the magic flag people.

I too like your Termi army. Though I would remove the vindicare and LR and add either VenDreads or more Psyfledrads. You can always make them scoring or Scouts with your GM, and have the added firepower they provide, NDKs would also be very nasty.

I like really your Mordrak list at 2000 points... It's a great 1st strike list and should be fun to play.

At 1750 I like the Terminator list better. With only 6 kill points and at least 5 scoring units (if necessary) it is strong yet flexable and should be pretty competative.
