Knightwing 1850
So I found a 2000 point list that I wanted to fit into 1850 that was called "Knightwing." Perhaps some of you have seen this before, but I wanted to change it up a bit and get your input before I start putting everything together! Here it is:
HQ
Librarian: Might, Sanc, Shroud, sword - 170pts
Troops
10x Terminators: 2 Psycannons, Psyammo, 1 NDH - 470pts
5x Terminators: 1 Incinerator, 3x halberds, 1 sword, 1 MC NDH - 210pts
Elite
5x Paladins: 1 MCpsycannon, 1 incinerator, 3 MC Halberds, 1 MC sword, 1 MC NDH - 330pts
Heavy Support
Land Raider: Multimelta, Psyammo - 275pts
Land Raider: Multimelta, Psyammo - 275pts
5 man squads ride in LR's and the 10 man stays back and shoots from cover with shrouding. I did all these points from memory, but that lands me at around 1725 points. Question now is what to do with those remaining points? I thought a psyfledread would just be a drop in the ocean, but I could be completely wrong (I probably am). Let me know what you guys think and how you would tweak the list to make things work optimally!

You could add a couple of paladins to your paladin squad and a banner. You could do the same to the 5x terminator squad. The only other thing I would add is possibly a 5x interceptor squad with a few weapons. You might also consider using the other Landraider variants so you could send the librarian with a terminator squad. Just my thoughts.

I'm not sure about a 10man squad of terminators just hanging back and shooting... seems like a huge waste of points considering that 10 purifiers can do the same shooting (even with 4 psycannons!) for 150p less... add the 125p you have left to that and you have another 5mansquad of termies!

I agree with Requiem, you won't want that 10 man GKT squad hanging back, they will need to advance against most opponents to ensure you have the killing power to take out your opponents army, 5 GKT can slog through most stuff but are still WS4 with limited attacks.
Paladins are slightly better, but at the end of the day you only have so many models.
I'd say use those points for your stay behind 'hold objective' troop so everything else can move forward.
I also probably wouldn't bother with PsyA on the LR's, so with a MM they are 265.
Also keep in mind moving your Lib up with your LR's is a good idea, lets you take advantage of cover with shrouding more effectively.

Hmm, from everything your saying I likely misunderstood the tactics involved with the build. Here's the link to where I found it:

...ah, yeah i did get it wrong...

Hmm his build is slightly different in certain ways.
Keep in mind though, even his list would have to advance, probably to midfeild at least to take full advantage of the LR's weapons and being within charge range.
Most people just ram their LR's down the opponents throat which works well in multiples. (If they don't have melta)
At 2k points though, you would be lucky to get 3 LR's, 20 GKT, a Lib and one Elite Psyflemen, and your putting all your eggs in those LRs.
I would probably suggest adding the summoning power to your Lib (and a homer if he can get one - no codex on hand) and then put him with your Paladins. That way he can break off and wreak havoc on a seperate area than your GKT, and if you need to capture something you can redeploy a troops choice GKT unit where you need them.
I'm actually tempted to build this list, but taking LRR's with as many DCA as possible with the spare points, and maxed PsyCan on the GKT/Pals
