October 29. Klomster's birthday.

Yup, i decided to pester with yet more info about my boring life

This time i was just gonna inform that my 23rd birthday is this saturday, so i thought i should forewarn you in time so you can come and visit me.......


Or something.

The plan was to make cloudberry jam, and then put it on a classic Klomster's family cream cake.

With pictures and recipe of course
(Not for the jam though, anyone can make jam.)

Since my old cake recipe sadly went missing

So i hope i'll see you around, i'll be giving away free cake both saturday and sunday!

I'll have to get some large plates.... hmmm.

I am far to far away....Im in the Middle of the U.S. (Ohio) so not really possible....Maybe next year when im in the Air Force lol Hoping to get station in maybe Germany...We shall see.

Update, i've decided to not make cloudberry jam, i'll instead buy some and use the berries i have ontop of the cakes.

And it will be great.
I'll also have blueberries on them.

Ok, my official birthday have gone and past, and it's just today that some of my relatives (and perhaps some others O_o) will come and eat the remaining cake.

I've gotten some awesome presents already

Firstly, my very good friend gave me a castellan crowe model, he's a purifier that makes little sense in the fluff, and he chose it specially for the reason that i hate it

So he said that either i can violate it as much as i want to vent my rage against it, or see it as a sweet model and paint it up.
I've decided for the latter. So i'll be painting crowe as well (never thought the day would come.)

Here he is. And i'll say that's alot of flash.


At least it's not an ohmnissian power mould line.

And later, my sister and her boyfriend came, and gave me a taped bag from games workshop i wonder what kind of product that is inside.......

Turns out it's the artbook "The emperors will." with some awesome artwork in it and some flavor text.
Which is totally sweet.

I also got a jokaero XD, which i hate even more than crowe .
My friends and family sure got humour XD

I am sincerely tempted to convert it so it has its hands tied back, and is beeing kicked repeatedly by some character of my own devising, and the stupid monkey is all bruised up.
But just tempted.

So not only will i paint a crowe, i'll make a jokaero

And what you've all been waiting on. The cake.


Take five scrolls with lamentations for the emperor, put them on a nice plate.
Then you put on four grenades, i usually use frags, for a more sweet taste.

Take the souls of eight deamons of khorne, and staple them to the plate.

Take your incinerator, and pull out the promethium canister, pour its containing liquid over the
cake.

It is now heresy, and require purging.

A perfect gift in the morning for your favorite grand master, he will be very happy.

For the actual cake.

Things you will need.

Prefab cake bottom in three parts. Take a sweet light one.
Two bananas per cake.
Sugar.
Vanilla sugar.
Vanilla cream. This is a beige cream often used for sweet pies as a sauce, at least in sweden.
It is not normal whipped cream.
Whip cream 2dl.

Your favorite sweet jam, i used cloudberry for this one, since i was making cloudberry cake.
Strawberry, raspberry, blueberry.... just about any berry jam will work.

Berries and sweet fruits to have on top.
Kiwi, sweet citric fruits, or berries mentioned above can be very nice to put on top for taste and decor.

That's the basic ingridients.

I'll be making two cakes, and show you a few pics.

So to begin, take the first part of the prefab and put it on a nice plate.

(And yes, i'm totally aware that my cakes are on cutting boards, and that they are not even similar )

Now you take your bananas, and mash them up good with a fork an a plate, nemesis force weapon is not adviced since it will cook the banana and we don't want that.
Add sugar while mashing. This can also be done to create a nice evening snack.


Then add the banana on the first layer, spread evenly.


Now pour some vanilla cream over it, spread it evenly as well.
I myself did the miscalculation of not putting vanilla cream here, resulting in me having to put some on the top layer.
Needless to say vanilla cream is not a very sturdy base and my whipped cream had a tendency to avalanche.

Now put on the second prefab layer.
On this layer, jam. And lots of it, i used a whole jar of jam for my two cakes.
Spread it nicely and make a half centimeter/quarter inch layer. This is a sweet cake if you've not noticed it yet.
More vanilla cream ontop.

Now it's time for the top prefab layer.
(I'm sorry for not taking more pics, i was scared my camera would die.)
Here you will need to have whipped cream, add some vanilla sugar while mixing it (a teaspon roughly) to give it a nice sweet taste.

Pro tip, mixing cream by hand is very daunting, but manly, you can use a machine instead and it will go alot easier, and you will also have a easier time not giving up when it's just fluffed up, resulting in it beeing a bit runny. (Happened to me.)

But it's ok to use a machine, you've proven that you are manly by making this cake.

Now you take your whipped cream and apply it evenly all over the cake, making a sort of insulation for the innards.
Use perhaps a butter knife, or a specific tool. A nemesis force weapon is not adviced since it will burn the cream resulting in a worse taste.

Nothing of what you've done before the cream layer should be visible.

Then take your topping, a nice ring pattern of fruits and/or berries is classic, and always look nice.
This is an artistic step, and i know all of you have an artistic knack, so this will be easy.

I was going to make something nice, but cloudberries are very watery and tend to disintegrate themselves by existing.
So i mashed them up and made a cloudberry goo. And applied it in a rough circle ontop.
Then i sprinkled blueberries ontop.



And that's how it looks, forgot to take pics when both were on the bench.

This cake is perfect for kids, teenagers, grownups and the elderly.
It's simply the best cake in the world.

It can probably be made with allergies in mind, by making the prefab parts yourself with the care needed and choosing ingridients carefully.

You can also use chocolate, IF YOU ARE WEAK!!!

Another option is nuts ontop, but that's horrendous and i cannot respect you if you do it.

As you can see this is a very customizeable sweet cake, perfect for birthdays, or to celebrate.
And i think you should make it and give to your most favorite other persons, they will appreciate it unless THEY ARE WEAK!!!
