Names for Grey Knights!

As i'm sure you are all aware Grey knights all have names on there right shoulder pads. I'd would just like to know some really cool ones to write on mine, and ones that you guys have used.

I haven't come up with any myself, but here is a list of Grey Knights that are referenced on Lexicanum.

Hopefully there will give you some ideas to the types of names the Grey Knight use.

Sweet they all sound pretty bad ass although I have about 50 grey knights so keep the name ideas coming!

A simple thing to do is to search for some latin greek and/or hebrew names and take the good ones.

Agreed! The web is your best resource for this project.

Personally I wouldn't us GM names for PAGKs or regular GKTs though, but that's just me

That's what I have done. Though I tend to go for more Latin names and leave the Hebrew biblical ones for Dark Angels.

what i use (except for some heroes of my army) is using musketeers names all from the south west of France , all coming from nobility : so every names have a terminal syllabe in "-ac"
ex De Brissac, de Vaillac, de Sigognac, de Chassagnac ...

Most of mine are from Authurian legend, plus some Latin names, heck i did have one lone PAGK who made it to be the last man standing and i named him Custer!

I don't really take a lt of names from sources or latin,I just make 'em up,it is quite easy.Now I have Chaos Lord Kranus,Aspiring Champion Julius,Aspiring Champion Darticus,Skull Champion Damian,Aspiring Havoc Champion Telia and Plague Champion Helitus, not to mention all my Loyalist Space Marines aswell.
Then again,I don't have any Grey Knights to name,so...

Telia is a girls name isn't it?

I use it myself.

From the proposed Exodite codex due for a potential release in 2013:

Thats right, they're creating the Grimlock suit to fight the Optimus suit.

Maybe they will create a Demonic Suit to fight the Grimlock and Optimus suits once they bring out a new codex for us.

But really Exodite Eldar getting theyr own codex?Thats the same as giving each Traitor Legion one or every different Space Marine chapter one.....

No. That's Alpha Legion disinformation.

On the other hand, it does sound like the kind of thing GW would do...

If exodites got a codex, it would seem likely it would at the same time update the eldar codex, which is a steaming pile of carnosaur manure at the moment.
I mean there are worse codexes, but few less boring for competitive play.
That being said I think its rather unlikely, most likely is that a codex would come out for craftworld and exodites and be customisable for both.

CSM deserves a codex though that supports all the traitor legions specifically.

Like the last Codex?Oh yeah I have heard the oh so great sea of options and stuff,which means yeah you won't see a same army twice,but it was rather hard for your opponent to understand just what you Lord could do,for example and I have heard the oh so wonderful Iron Warriors of old.Maybe its just me,but I do think that this codex is better imo anyway,but I would still like an update for it.

I personally use Teutonic (basically German) names, because the Grey Knights always struck me as being based off of the Teutonic Knights. Maybe that's just me.

On the subject of an exodite dex - wouldn't surprise me, with SoB getting a WD dex, and the rumour that CSM are being sent back to a legion dex with current CSM rules being represented by a WD renegade space marines mini dex I could easily see an Exodite one.

Would be nice, not holding my breath though. I love eldar!
