Latest GK rumours

Of course, if one really wants an all-assault oriented force, the GK LRR along w/ the SR will be awesome!

That was exactly what I was thinking about!

Heard that GK's will be getting all the SM vehicles.
Was then told that "It makes no sense that GK's don't have vehicles, all space marines use vehicles" honestly, why are people so stupid.... "DAEMON HUNTERS" why would you use vehicles against deamons its just stupid....
Hoping its not true.... so sick of all this space marine crap, if I wanted to play them painted silver I'd buy the godamn SM codex.

I have a increasingly bad feeling that the ignorance of common players with no idea about Grey Knights will take over and we'll end up with stupid rules in a stupid codex.

Players will be players and there are many "ignorant" ones out there that don't have any idea what GK's are all about. Let's hope Robin C. and the rest of the GW design team know better and do us justice.

I'm hopeful since Robin C. did the IG codex and that codex is a huge success

yeah he also did the tyranid codex. many people moan that its too weak. as a tyranid player myself.. i simply love it. you have so much more variety then before. so if Cruddace makes our GK codex i think we are on a nice route

I also hear a lot of complaints that the Ig codex is bland and boring, but i know it wont be the same with Grey Knights because we will still have a small. elite, army. Along with some other unique choices.

Think our new 'dex may seam it a bit bland in that they will be in 'like' power armour, so in that respect they will seam like 'normal' marines but as we'll have special rules and units we'll end up being far superiour so all though at first glance GK's may seam bland but loot at he properly and you'll see we're so much more!

Basically - don't judge a book by it's cover!

As for tanks, never in the fluff have GK's had rhino's/ r'backs (that I'm aware of) they're meant to be masters of teleporting! I know it's been rubbished but i was loving the jet bike rumour when it came out :-)

GK's having land raider makes sense as they need some vehicles that can take down the heretics tanks and or buildings. Also makes sense that they have dreadknights not dreadnoughts as a grey knight would rather be beside the emperor than entombed in a dread body!

I'm actually re-reading the IG, BA, SW, Nids, and of course SM codexs just to get a good ground and see we're Grey Knights are going. All those codexs have so much lore and fluff in them, I hope that the mysteriousness of the GK isent too mucked up. Frankly though, I'll be much happier to have MORE stories of their heroics And tons of special characters.

Hmm...with Cruddace writing GK's, we're either going to get super buffed up or muffins crammed up where they don't belong. I like the Nid codex a lot but its so stupidly hard for them to fight the nastiness that is Guard or even just LR spam. Granted, with our codex, it can only get better

IG boring? The last 3 or 4 IG armies I've gone up against were all so vastly different. There's a shitload of variety in that dex. It's only boring if you play Leafblower lists. For both sides. If Cruddace captures one half of that variety in the GK dex I'll be smiling.

We haven't heard any rumours for the last few codex's (deldar, blood angles) within the three months (ish) leading up to it's release.

think GW has really tightened up it's non disclosure policy. As such not sure we'll hear much, if anything, till we get hands on the holy tomb that is the GK 'dex :-(

I think it is probably true that GW are tightening up, they were REALY loosing it there for a while. I think the accidental Stormraven post on their own website was the point where they realized they needed to regain control. It's just too bad that they tighten things up right before our release.

i spoke of this with the manager of my GW store : he told me that there will be before the savage orks for WHB so he expects his black box (the teaser and commercial material before a release) about 3 weeks before the release that means around march the 19th, not before....

oh yes i can tell you that in seminaries they have codice and army books in hands when they are nearly ready !! and it's first hand testimony
sometimes they even get their eyes on concepts and masters
but it's true for the release of the GK everything is tight up very strongly and nobody knows nothing

Purifiers = Grey Knights that have a lot of anti horde options, they are

Looks intresting so far, but im stll kinda eh about some things...Librarian? Why do we need him? all gks are librarians in some way, could have been better giving Gm and others butt loads of powers. Also, Techmarine... why?

I'm sorry but I don't totally believe those rumours,

The army list just looks, to me, like a cross between space marine/DH/WH units they like and wish listing. That list looks almost to complete for a 'leak'.

As for the GM's granting of special rules, they look either too vague and/ or powerful for it to be true.
