I like the fact that you have a lot of anti-infantry shooting. You don't have any long range AT though. Maybe switch out one of the dread's for a twllc?

You have a very neat list, I like the concept. I think two dread lists are strong and don't really need the las, though i am curious as to how the smoke-plasma- incin dread works for you, as it is different from most i see. Squeezing in the assassin into this type of list limits how many troops you can take, which is a catch-22 since assassins work best supporting troops (and hunting solos). Overall I like it, but i feel it might suffer in certain scenarios because.....
You are REALLY light on troops. as in 2 battle cannon shots could make some games unwinable. Have you considered loosing some upgrades to beef up your squads, or dropping the Inquisitor down to an elite slot, trimming the retinue or removing it completely, and putting hammerhand on the BC? Currently they are alot of points for an easy target.....
You can basically straight swap your current inquisitor loadout with a 5gk with 2 psy squad AND an elite inquis with a combi melta. I feel with shrouding and the s6 and being scoring this might help you out a little more. swap out the incin for hannerhand for extra hidden vehicle killing goodness, and you might net a few more wins in objective based scenarios, where my main problems are having too few troops or dealing with vehicles that contest me.
Let us know how this playtests! and Good luck brother!

Yea current edition troops are very important, although much less so in the newer codexes. The newer codexes can literally make lists to wipe you off the table.
We are stuck inbetween: our troops struggle as they die just like SM since shrouding is very unreliable, and we can't effectively expect to wipe any new codexes off the table.

I agree with you MJS, but since i dont have stormtroopers i have to use grey knights, i want to keep the inq squad as it is cause it is really lethal, the evorsor can be effective against tanks if he needs to, with the 2 dreds i cant see any way to fit any more troops in.
I put an incinerator on the dred just to make it more 'grey-knighty' and didnt think that now i would have to use it in battles lol
In annihilation mission i plan to set up in a corner with a GK squad in front of each dred and inq squad behind dreds. So the opponent has to charge the GKs first then the dreds can counter-charge
In objective missions i will just have to improvise lol

I'd be more inclined to put the dread in front, and wrap your squad around him so that both the Dread and your Knights get a cover save.
Generally speaking its far better to let your Dread take the charge, even if there is a chance it will bite the dust so next turn you can either counter charge with your knights, or storm bolter, then charge.
Obviously there is no charge benefit but knights can be in trouble if anything really CC orientated hits them. (Mainly due to initiative)
I also run my PAGK with Psycannons though so if they aren't moving forward, they are standing back shooting, and cover saves help alot

Re: 1000 point Daemonhunters, need advice
This is my slightly revised list:
Brother- Captain (92)
- psycannon, targetor
Inquistor Lord(215)
-Psycannon, targetor, auspex, artificer armor
-Retinue: 2 heavy bolter servitors, 1 plasma cannon servitor, mystic, 2 sages
Grey Knight Squad(156)
-Justicar, 4 grey knights, targeter, melta bomb
Grey Knight Squad (151)
-Justicar, 4 grey knights, targeter
Evorsor Assassin (95)
Dreadnought (153)
-plasma cannon, incinerator, extra armour, smoke launchers
Dreadnought (138)
-Twin-linked Lascannon, extra armour, smoke launchers
I have tried to make the list more anti-tank, the BC will now deepstrike behind the enemy and shoot his psycannon at a tanks rear armour hopefully
