Yea sometimes I hear the same rumours I find online at the GWS stores and they turn out to be totally untrue, always makes me laugh inside!

Stormraven seems like a smart idea if they release it included in the GK codex, it would definately get some immense sales, even from BA players alot of whom are still awaiting its release.

Speeking about Storm Raven, I saw few self converted models on the web.... Some with better look than others....... That's pretty interesting.

Yea there are some amazing conversions. I was pretty tempted to do two for my BA's but the cost of doing them well is just insane!

The GW guy was trying to get me excited about Dark Eldar and was showing me the new codex while explaining that GW is starting a trend of including flyers into the new codecies, and trying to make them a staple in games. He pointed out the DE fighter and bomber in the new dex and we talked about how the Storm raven is in the BA dex and will be in the new GK one. I didn't think to ask if he was talking officially or not, sorry

Most of them are hard to nail down about 'official' information
My local guy gave me some hints before the release but was very close mouthed about anything substantial for the obvious reasons.
Storm Raven being a GK option seems relatively certain since it was even mentioned as a GK transport in the BA codex.

About flyers in new dex's, it would be a logical way to lonk recent extensions like planetary assaut, or even apocalypse....

AND to make heaps of money off of gamers as they either buy the newly released kits, or spend a crap load of money building unreleased models with expensive kit bashes...... Win, Win for GW

tehehe reading the previous comments i feel the news i heard from my GWS may put confusion in as he said march.... mhmm lol tbh i dont care when it happens i just want the new codex. all the possible new stuff we may get, anti tank for example and after the hours of painting and playing with my GKs im gunna stick with my metal uberess and if i run out of models for my army then ill get plastic ones and fill the bases with lead

I'm not sure if it's just me but one of the main reasons I love GK (other than their absolute superiority, awesome fluff and amazing sculpted dynamic beauty) is the fact that it's almost an all metal army!! Don't get me wrong some of GW new plastic kits are incredibly detailed but when battling with plastic troops I feel like I'm 10 years old again playing army soldiers. I love all my GW model collection but my all metal Demon Hunters just feel like models and not toys

I will be keeping all my GK and using them in many more battles!

it seems that the Skavens are going out on January 2011 (official teaser on GW site) so GK would be nearer March i guess...

Could still easily be Feb, this is just a wave of models since they got an army book last year. Won't need too much time unlike a full release. Besides DE in Nov, Xmas deals in Dec, skaven in Jan and GK in Feb seems perfectly plausible to me.

Skaven are not getting a new codex soon, as per the GW e-mail its just models. Nothing has changed

Yup, it says second wave plus a bunch of new gaming products like the monster case.

For the orignal discussion, the mighty weight of the metal GKT will naturally crush the delicate plastic of the new pretty models, but i'll buy a few to see how the turn out. I couldn't get rid of the best looking GW models... ever!
