I believe that the device ON the tank is the conversion beamer, and that the device pictured below REALLY does look like a twin linked plasma cannon. scratch

as i understand it the Storm eagle is a special model only sold on a special occasion .... the Forge World Open Day of tomorrow 01 april 2012 .... so i don't know if it's a 1st April joke or if it's true ! scratch

if it's true, i don't know if it will only be sold in the GW Nottingham facility or on line too ! scratch

but i'm preparing myself to a reallybig desillusion ! Crying or Very sad

Brothers,

I am told there is an issue with the jetbike. It has an imperial eagle on it. I am told in pre-hersey times the eagle was the emperor's personal sigil. So vehicles should not display that symbol unless they are the emperor's personal wargear. I think one legion may have been able to use it... Emperor's children?? But that stops the model being used for the other legions which is bad.

I have no idea if that is correct or not.. perhaps the people more up on the lore can confirm that or not.

nope.. they vary between S 6 DS 5 and S 5 DS 5. all types of weapons.. so pistol, assaultx, heavyx. etc.
they got a additional special rule: deflagrate

they are sort of blood claws of blood angel cybots... kinda... but for shooting.
for every inflicted unsaved wound the enemy gets a automatic hit with the same weapon profile. the additional inflicted wounds however dont cause additional hits.

its additional wounds for caused wounds.

I think part of my lack of enthusiasm comes from the fact that I have been collecting miniatures since the Rogue Trader days, and seeing the "old" models being sold in resin for a ridiculous price irks me.
I kind of look at theses new lines as being less detailed..... I think it is just a personal thing really.
