Just be carefull of those nasty eldar with their spiffy tanks that zoom all over the place and drop a huge load of banshees. Those girls are nasty when you have doom on your squad.

Yup. I know from experience how nasty those can be (not to mention a squad of fire dragons dropping in front of your tanks). Psychic hood should give me a relatively 50/50 chance of countering doom while the multitude of psycannon shots can hopefully help stun or immobilize those pesky grav tanks (assuming the lascannons don't blow them up first).

Yeah I know that a lot girls from around here would do that too,for me being a heretic, for me being a competitor of theyr gods attention(actually since most,if not all daemon armies in here are Slaanshi and I don't give a damn about what the Prince of Plesure wants its not really that kind of competition, but I guess I'm compeating for the attention of all the Chaos gods so...) or because they don't want me in theyr Greater Good even when I told them about the uses for my superhuman qualities outside of battlefields or because they wanna eat me,or because theyr god doesn't actually care whos blood flows, just that it does. But when its that time of month you better be careful around them, because one slip of tongue might make you the first human being to enter orbit, without the need for a space shuddle.

Ok, final evolution of the list after allocating the remaining 41 pts.

HQ - GM w/ m-c nfw, p-cannon, si, ph, auspex & HH
3 GKTs (1 p-cannon)
TR - 5 x PAGK (2 p-cannons; frags, targeter & auspex)
TR - 5 x PAGK (2 p-cannons; frags, targeter & auspex)
TR - 5 x PAGK (2 p-cannons; frags, targeter & auspex)
TR - 5 x PAGK (2 p-cannons; frags, targeter & auspex)
HS - LR w/ ea, pmsb, s-light & sl
HS - LR w/ ea, pmsb, s-light & sl

Total: 1749

All the wargear fits the theme/philosophy of the list. The targeters will help me maximize my range finding and shooting while each unit's auspex can help detect any would be infiltrators that might get too close.

Of course, I could have just added another PAGK but I've always wanted my units to be "symmetrical" Razz I also considered giving up the smoke launchers in the first place to make 47 pts and get another GKT, but I think smoke launchers might come in handy in last minute objective grabs Very Happy

Best of luck to you Brother Rivan, I know you've got the experience and skills to utilize it to its potential, but I can tell its going to be risky with such small squads of Grey Knights.

Still, it makes sense to have fewer Grey Knights; they are rare and amazing after all Very Happy

May the Emperor guide you brother!

Wasn't your next game Annhilitation? In that case you'll want to be shooting your lascannons every turn and won't want/need to be popping smoke.

True. For that actual tourney round (and the 3rd one in July), I'll probably nix the smokes and add a GKT.

However, I was also gearing the list to be an all-around tourney list vs all-comers and in all scenarios to see if it would be competitive Very Happy

For the actual 2nd round tourney game (annihilation/pitched battle), the list will look this:

HQ - GM w/ m-c nfw, p-cannon, si, ph & HH
4 GKT's (1 p-cannon)
TR - 5 x PAGK (2 p-cannons; targeter)
TR - 5 x PAGK (2 p-cannons)
TR - 5 x PAGK (2 p-cannons)
TR - 5 x PAGK (2 p-cannons)
HS - LR w/ ea
HS - LR w/ ea

Actually, this would be a most excellent opportunity to throw in a Hellfire Dread. You'll still have more than enough p-cannons if you drop one GK squad to do it. Just a thought. Smile

Hmmm, that's a good idea, very tempting.

2 high strength shots per turn can definitely help vs. heavy armor.

TR - 6 X PAGK (2 p-cannons; targeter, fg)
TR - 6 X PAGK (2 p-cannons; targeter, fg)
TR - 6 X PAGK (2 p-cannons; targeter, fg)
HS - LR w/ pmsb, ea & sl
HS - LR w/ ea & sl
HS - dread w/ twllc, ml, ea & sl

Let's hope. I'll definitely do my best Very Happy

I'll be testing the list this weekend. I've simulated different scenarios and it should do well in most and vs most opponents as long as I can have a couple of turns of long range shooting. The tricky opponents would be those that have a lot of deep strikers (like drop pods) and infiltrators. I'll post the batreps after the weekend.

Lets hope you kick less heretic ass and more xeno and daemon ass.Not that I mind other traitors being killed, since we do it all the time, for territorial disputes, sectors to raid, yeah I once had to battle 4 different traitor armies for the chance to actually get to killing Imperial and by the time I actually got so far, there were GK and IG(girls) everywhere,so I decided after a few short battles to skip and go to the other sector(this was an interesting campaing we did a while back)
